Perfect for a nicu baby
This works amazing for tracking all the details for our nicu baby so we could be assured what was normal when we got home. It has 2 pages for each day which could easily be 1 with just a 1 hour time slot for my purposes but it's very handy. I like that it has spots for bottle and breast to keep track of both types of feeding. There is enough space to write notes if need be in the bottle or sleep sections. It's very handy to take to well child and lactation visits to have a super accurate account. I'm sure there is an app that does the same but the privacy and ease of sharing the paper journal is well worth it. Would buy again for myself and plan on gifting to friends.

Wonderful tool for nanny
We bought this book to keep a log of our baby’s day when we hired our nanny. It was a great communication tool. It kept track of both days and nights allowing us to sync up with the nanny easily.

Great for breast feeding moms
I wouldn't know what to do without this book. It keeps track of everything from feeding times, poop/pee, even bottle feeds plus ounces if that was the preferred feeding! (I cross out this part and put the end time to have a reference to how long the feed was). It's also been a great help to know what side he last ended on and has enough space for additional notes. I would recommend this to any mom and it's a great memory to keep!**Update: I used it for the first month of him being born but quit after that. It would make a cute memory if it's filled all the way out. It's just something else to remember to do after every feeding. I ended up just using the notes app in my phone most of the time.

I love almost everything about this!
Nowadays they have apps that do all of this, but I’m kind of old-school and wanted a hard copy version and this was the best available option I found. I got so many compliments on it at the hospital from the nurses and doctors! I highly recommend bringing it with you to the hospital when you’re having your baby, as the nurses will be asking you for detailed times of feedings and diaper changes as well as frequency. And while you’re recovering and exhausted, you’re going to need to look back at some thing to give them the answers they’re looking for because you are not going to remember all of it.The size is good, easily fits in a purse or diaper bag. The way it is set up is that when you open it, the left page is the daytime hours (6 AM to 5 PM) and the right page is nigh-time hours (6 PM to 5 AM). It is not set up with the traditional 12am-12pm day and night breakdown. Therefore, if you are counting feedings or diapers for the day (the true 24 hour day), you will need to flip back to the “day page” prior to see any early morning feedings such as 2 am feeds. You can track nursing side & bottle feeds, sleep, diapers (differentiating pee/poop), awake times, day of the week and date, etc. The book has two lines per hour for logging, my husband wished there were more lines available. Which I agree, sometimes the baby eats or pees more than twice in an hour..but it doesn’t bother me that much. My wish was that there were spaces available for general notes and maybe even medical tracking. I’d love to track medications, weights, doctor visit notes, baths, etc. I’ve been doing this on my own at the bottom of each page or using the awake column for random notes. All in all, I’m loving it and highly recommend it. I think it makes for a great baby shower gift.

Complicated
Idk in my opinion, I thought it was confusing. When I skimmed the pictures I did see the times but then when I received it I thought the day and night for one day was too much since it was for both side had a 24hr period. Idk i tried to make make it work, but my times started to look inconsistent just cause I didn’t know where to note things down.

Simple and Easy to Use
I’m super glad we got this book to keep track of our newborn’s functions. Each page features a 12 hour cycle with space dedicated to sleep, diapers, and feeding. There’s a side column for wake activities and an extra box for other information (such as when mom pumps). It really helped our pediatrician when our baby had some digestive issues - he looked at the timing of feedings and diapers and helped us find a solution to baby’s tummy trouble. The combination of simplicity and functionality makes this a must for first time parents.
