Excellent enclosure for SAS hard drives
I use this device to access a Seagate Exos 24TB SAS drive. It works great. The write speed is ~270 MB/s, which is comparable in speed to a similar SATA hard drive.

Sturdy quality, a bit heavy for what it is but still good.A bit thick and might not work for some devices as it needs quite a bit of space to fit and reach in when plugged in.

After using this case, my SSD was reborn as a USB stick. It looks great and works perfectly. I love it.

This docking station actually works with SAS drives. There is one inaccuracy about the product page. The product page says that the docking station only supports SAS drives, not SATA, that's incorrect. This docking station does support both SAS and SATA drives. However, unlike most SATA docking stations, this docking station does not support S.M.A.R.T data reading from either SAS or SATA drives. Also, since it's using USB 3.0 output, the data transfer will be slow for SAS drives especially 12G SAS drives, as USB 3.0's max bandwidth is 5.0 Gbps.

Device doesnt work at all or do anything promised.
Product doesnt work, its as simple as that. windows doesnt register a new device, no drivers are installed, doesnt register the drive connected at all. Tried 2 different computers multiple usb ports. I would not reccomend this product at all.

Lots of quality touches for an esoteric product
I build and tinker with computers a lot. I was not expecting a lot when I purchased this product - I just needed an MSATA to USB adapter that didn't require a cable since I had nothing lying around that would take a MSATA drive. When this arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product and attention to detail in ensuring the end-user had a positive experience. Unlike many Amazon products from manufacturer names you can't recognize, this product came with not only a full user guide in multiple languages (admittedly there was some broken English and certain instructions were not entirely understandable unless you already had an idea of what you were doing, but nothing major), but also spares for every screw and standoff needed to assemble the product with your given MSATA drive AND AN ACTUAL MAGNETIC-TIPPED PC REPAIR SCREWDRIVER SO THAT YOU WOULDN'T NEED YOUR OWN TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION! It was the inclusion of this screwdriver that I knew these guys meant business - I had been meaning to get such a screwdriver for a long time for tiny PC part screws and had no idea one would be included in this product, which is just an amazing quality-of-life touch. 5 star product for a 5 star price - would buy again if I had a need for another, and will definitely look at this brand's products in the future.
