This is robust and not filmsy

I’ve been using the Le Creuset Splatter Guard for a while now, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to—keeps oil and grease from making a mess while cooking. It fits most of my pans (26cm to 30cm) and has a silicone rim, so it sits securely without scratching anything. The fine mesh stops splatters but still lets steam escape, which is great. I also like that the handle folds down, making it easier to store.

There is something wrong with the way we use our splatter guards - been through a few of them as the edges come apart and tiny needle like bits of metal keep poking me until I become an irritable mess and wonder why no one can make anything decent anymore. ENTER THIS BEAUTY - the edges are throughly protected. Obviously a working chef must have designed this because it does the job beautifully and looks great too. Stacks near the pans without getting damaged as it is so sturdy. Worth paying 2-3 times the price of a cheap one as it should last the rest of my life …. In that case: it’s a bargain !!

This is the usual good quality we expect from the brand. It does to job perfectly preventing splashing and is also easy to wash. What I didn’t realise before using is that it also helps to retain heat within the pan - noticeable when cooking items like fish - an unexpected bonus.

You only have to see the manufacturers name to know this is excellent quality. I know you can get cheap splatter guards but after a few uses they discolour, it's worth the extra money to have ones that cleans up so well

This is too expensive for what it is but saying that it just works, unlike most that is why I paid it.

expensive but you won't buy a better spatter guard - in this case you get what you pay for!
