There is a lot to like about this dehumidifier especially its energy efficiency and quiet operation. But, more important than those items is how well a company honors its warranty and its level of customer service and support. I had a problem with my unit that needed customer support so I reached out by email explaining my issue. Within 24 hours I received a response back from Emma stating Vellgoo will resolve the problem so I shouldn't be concerned. Emails went back and forth a few times with no delay. I was amazed at how responsive she was. I honestly couldn't believe how important my issue was to her. She was getting this resolved no questions asked and a few days ago a new dehumidifier showed up at my front door. I can't remember when I've felt this comfortable dealing with a product issue. There was no drama, no stress, and never felt anxious during this process. It's remarkable and refreshing in these times that a company like Vellgoo actually cares about their customers and backs it up with action. Emma is a remarkable representative, and I can't say enough good things about her. She needs to be put in the Customer Service Hall of Fame. Thank You Emma!!

I purchased this dehumidifier in the summer of 2024. I installed the unit in the basement of my house and it performed outstandingly throughout the summer and fall until manually turned it off for the winter...my basement is heated and does not require dehumidifying during the winter months. When spring returned this year my basement began to develop higher humidity and I turned on the dehumidifier again. The unit seemed to turn on and the fan was blowing air however the compressor apparently did not restart. I contacted Vellgoo with my problem via email and we started a "back and forth" trying to troubleshoot the problem and get the dehumidifier working again. True to their stated policy of responding within 12 hours they were quick to react and gave me some suggested procedures to try and reset the unit. When this did not solve the issue Vellgoo asked me for my address and sent me a new unit at no charge. They were fantastic to work with and I am very thankful and impressed with how they handled this situation and stood behind their product. Going forward I would be quite comfortable having any of Vellgoo's products.

I originally purchased this dehumidifier in November 2023 to install in my large RV while it was in storage. We also use it while travelling the gulf coast areas where there are high humidity levels to help keep us comfortable. We couldn't have been more satisfied with how quiet and effiecient it worked. In May of 2025 I noticed the humidity levels were increasing however the fan was still working. I called emailed customer support to help with diagnosing the problem and Viloleta emailed me back with some helpful ideas. After a couple of emails back and forth she was able to confirm the compressor had failed and promptly had a new replacement shipped to me.Violeta's patience and guidance made diagnosing problems with the unit a simple process. It's nice doing business with a company that firmly stands behind their products warranty and wouldn't hesitate to buy anything they manufacture.

I got this in June of 2024. The unit worked fine all year, but after storing it as per the instructions for the winter, I found this spring that the unit wouldn't pull any water from the air. The unit ran, but the compressor did not come on. Fortunately, the unit has a two year warranty, and the people I dealt with at Vellgoo were extremely helpful and easy to deal with via email. So many reviews of different company's dehumidifiers bemoan how they have become disposable. I suppose my experience with Vellgoo has been similar so far, but I was able to get a replacement unit very promptly, and it has been working fine for over a week now. So I would recommend this company over horror stories I read about other company's lack of support.

I bought a Vellgoo dehumidifier from Amazon in December 2024. It works great for few months, suddenly there was no water in the water tank from the humidity. I contacted Vellgoo service department, I received a reply from Violeta the next day.After I followed Violeta`s instructions to reset the dehumidifier, it still had no water in the water tank from the humidity. Lastly, Violeta told me that she will send a new dehumidifier to replace the bad one, no cost to me at all.I am very appreciated Violeta from Vellgoo company for her prompt, friendly and patience during the time with me to solve the dehumidifier problem.After few days, I received a new dehumidifier from Vellgoo company, it works beautifully.
