Attractive, sturdy wooden swing seat. Easy to install. Competitive price. Looks great!

I hanged this on a tree at the alotment for my 4 Yr old. She absolutely loves it. I wish the rings were a bit bigger. We had to use the rope over the branch instead because the branch was thicker then the ring size. It rather looks like a swing for a metal frame. However we adapted it and it looks good. If you use it without the rings make sure you inspect regularly the rope as it may rub against the branch and snap at one point. My daughter used it a lot for two months now and there are no signs of wear and tear on the rope. Looks strong. The nice thing is that you can buy change the rope after a period of time and paint the wood to the colour you want. It will always look like new. Planning to buy bigger rings to be on the safe side.

Really enjoyed this swing over the summer when I hung it on our eucalyptus tree to replace a tire swing that was not being used. We used spare hammock straps to go over the tree branch and bought a carabiner from B&Q that could take the weight to attach it to the ropes of the swing. It does not swing straight as the branch curves upwards, but it is still a delight to swing on it. Holds my 60kg adult weight and I had many cups of tea in the morning, listening to bird song. However, even though I varnished it, it has started growing mould over the winter.

Lovely sturdy seat

Not ULTRA STRONG at all. I bought 3 x seats in total, in 2 x Orders, and they're all falling apart after only 2/3 weeks use, by small children. The wooden slats & supports are fixed together only by thin, headless pins, so the seats are separating, and coming apart. No screws; no nails; no glue. The wood is also warping despite only mild sun. I've had to fix them myself with glue, a clamp, and possibly screws. I did send 1 seat back to Amazon, and obtained a refund, but it was so much hassle (3rd party Seller) that I've decided to repair the others myself. Otherwise, they're unusable. Very poor quality wood, fitting and manufacture.

My son loves his new swing. The wooden ones seem a lot more classy than plastic alternatives. I had to use some extra rope as the branch we hung it from was quite high. Also useful to buy some metal carabinas to attach the swing to the rope around the tree.

Swing seat is a bit on the small size. (Width wise)Have had it for about a month now and found that the seat has split on bottom and side. (See photos)Would not recommend this product or purchase again
