Strong, many uses but plan your use well
Plan project wisely first. First off, quick delivery, great seller. I may be a little harsh on the review but mainly due for my issues durring use and the seller has a better but more expensive option. Con1- 3m tape will not adhear on felt or fabric for very long mounted on the side of an object. Even with pressure for 1min and left to dry for around 24hrs. The magnet will slide/pull off if shear weight/weight is applied. Using glue with the 3m to try to re-mount did not work since the glue would not cure or hold well on the 3m tape. Like I said, did not work well for my use but the tape method could work on a clean, flat surface and possibly on the side of a flat, clean, non fabric surface. Wear clean gloves when applying the tape to magnet or to surface. Dirt and oils will degrade the glue and will not set or stay in place, so make sure your tape is prefectly lined up with the magnet when applying and applying to surface. Con2- even though it should be well known, these are very hard/brittle magnets. If another magnet hits another or a metal object is pulled into the magnet, it will break and or shatter. use caustion. Better option to these are the magnets with brackets that have pre drilled holes that come with screw. Helps protect the magnet on 3 sides and mounts much better. They are more costly and do require them to be screwed onto location. These are also available through this seller. I would even say, using the backet ones with glue or double sided tape is a better option since the magnet would be more protected from damage. Do not store or place magnets near electronics (tv, cell phone, computer, gaming console) or any type of digital storage device. They will be damaged, erased or destroyed. This is basic practice with just about any magnet, so use caution. Ferrous materials (steel/iron) can and most likely will become magnatized if left on a strong magnet for awhile or if the object is slid off the magnet to many times. Rock/pull off object, dont slide it. (Thus why mounting is important). I tried mounting a few about 1-2in side by side( verticle and horrizonal) to give additional mounting strength but the magnets would attract eachother and the one with the weaker glue would come off and stick to the other. Thankfully they did not break. In summary, they are pretty strong and have many applications, they just did not suit my use perfectly and there are better options for similar uses. Instead of returning mine, I'm sure I will figure out another use for them. Only difficult part will be A- storage and B-removing the tape or de-glueing the tape for storage then re-glueing them. A nice option from the seller would be to provide non drilled brackets to place these in for added protection.

Very powerful magnets for the size
These magnets were great. I know the rare earth magnets are more powerful than conventional magnets. But these pack a huge punch for the size. I bought these magnets so that I could take a surge power strip and attach it in my kitchen and make it movable for use. So I put three conventional magnets on it yesterday and it would not hold at all. So last night I put it in an order for these magnets. And they showed up today. I put two on the surge protector plug. And it holds great. Not so hard that it's really difficult to get off. But strong enough that it doesn't slip fall or even come off if bumped. You have to willfully take it off of the cabinet it is put on. I am extremely happy especially for the price

they're okay, not the strongest
no n-rating, so you don't know till you get them. They're not nearly as strong as a hard drive magnet... But way better than an AlNiCo magnet, and cheap as chips, everyone should have a pack of these kicking around the house. Throw away the included adhesive, it's trash. Use some 3M VHB or Gorilla mounting tape.

Watch your fingers!
These things are amazingly strong. I have at least one pinched finger by not respecting their power! One thing to note is that the North/South are on the large faces of the magnet. I was actually looking for a traditional bar magnetic with the N/S on the ends but these will still be useful for other projects I'm working on.

Works to hold shower curtain
I needed a good method to seal the shower curtains to the wall to keep water where it belongs. These magnets are coated (won't rust) and are plenty strong enough to hold several thicknesses of vinyl shower curtain with no issue. They are fragile, so I stuck a magnet to the shower wall and sealed the edges with silicone. Then, using some vinyl trim I had (which matches the shower wall) if stuck a magnet to the trim and encased with silicone. This protected the magnet from breakage and made it easy to separate from the magnet on the shower wall. Now I can pull the curtain tight and secure it with no worry of water getting on the floor. I also made on to secure the bottom of the curtain to the (cast iron) tub. You would not notice them when not in use and look and work so much better than products that were made for this purpose. It has been 2 months, and I have no rusting and no issues at all.

Magnets hold, even on a rough road.
I got these to use in my motorhome. I had a furnace cover that was screwed in I wanted easier access to. I put some magnets on the cabinet frame and cover. Screws held things in place well. I have about 500 miles or so on it, and they have stayed in place great. The door never moved when I wanted to to stay closed, but was easy to open when needed.

Adhesive is horrible and fails consistently within a few days/weeks. Magnets are fragile.
The magnets themselves are quite brittle and very easy to break, but they are pretty strong and I haven't had problems with them sticking to things. However, the adhesive strips that come with each magnet are absolutely awful. Every single thing I have tried to attach to the wall with these things has fallen off do to the adhesive just failing after a few days/weeks. These things put me off from ever using any sort of adhesive for hanging things on the wall again, I'll just deal with the small holes in the wall.
