They *DO* work for connecting monitors to the Microsoft Surface Dock
I got these to connect 2 monitors to my Surface Pro 7 using the Surface Dock (1 gen model). The Surface Dock has 2 mini-DP output jacks and my monitors luckily have DP input ports. At first, I thought these cables were bad because they just wouldn't work with my Surface Dock at all. If you have the Surface Dock and these don't work for you, don't be quick to blame the cables because it's most likely not the cables (for this particular scenario which I will describe). The Surface Pro Dock worked with the Display Port when it first came out, but then Intel changed their software drivers for the display chip inside the Surface Dock. Since Windows 10 looks for and updates everything to the latest version of the software, they dutifully update Intel drivers whenever Intel releases new ones. The problem is that the *newer* version of the Intel graphics drivers (on the Surface Pro 7) doesn't work with the Surface Dock . . . AT ALL! This took me a while to figure out and the solution is very stupid, but it works. You have to manually load an older version of the Intel IRIS graphics drivers for the Intel Integrated graphics. Specifically, the version that I had to use was 25.20.100.7101which comes from an older version of the Surface Pro 7 drivers package which is "SurfacePro7_Win10_18362_19.103.34215.0.msi" You only need the graphics drivers from that package, not everything else. Simply trying to run that package won't work because you'll get a message that there are newer drivers and it will quit.Rather than trying to explain everything here, I'll just say that do an internet search and if you're tech-savvy, you'll be able to figure it out. I'll include a few photos that show the versions that work. Unless Intel releases a patch then this is the best solution I could find to get my Surface Pro 7 to work with dual DP monitors via the Surface Dock. If you have a tech-savvy friend, just show them the photos and they should be able to get your Surface Dock working with these cables. All of that was just to put some of the other reviews into context. There could be some people who received defective cables, but if they mention issues with Intel graphics, then it's probably not a faulty cable. Again, this is just my own personal experience with the cables specifically on the Surface Pro 7 with the Surface Dock (gen 1). YMMV.Overall, this is a great value to get things working for my 2 1920x1080 monitors. It's a good quality cable and having them as a 2-pack was exactly the solution I needed. I hope this might help anyone else who is having the same issue.I would buy these again and would definitely recommend them for the specific devices that I mention above. Great quality, great price.

Works as Advertised - Highly Suggested
Nice cable. Appears to be well made. Not often you need a mini-DP to DP, should you do, this is the cable to get!

Amazing Product with Equally Amazing Customer Service
I bought this cable as an upgrade from my standard HDMI to HDMI cable, and I must say, the quality of the cable for the price is outstanding! I have no flickering or screen display issues, and my display's picture quality is clearer than ever. I use this cable primarily to transmit a 2K resolution with a 144Hz display from my laptop to my monitor. After about 5 months, however, I did encounter an issue with my cable where the connection became a bit shoddy and the display wouldn't remain for more than a couple minutes if bent in a certain position. I contacted Moread right away and in less than 10 minutes they understood my issue and sent me a replacement cable that came within 2 days, free of charge. I absolutely love these cables and the amazing customer service I received and would definitely recommend this brand to anyone looking for great quality cables at an affordable price.

Works if u need it
Very specific cable for a specific use case, but it was a perfect price and perfect length for my application and was delivered fast and effectively. I used it to connect my mid2010 iMac to an external monitor. Not a common use case — but again, it’s a very soecific cable for a specific use case.

Compatible with Macbook Air 2017 Monterey OS LG Ultrawide 45 inch
If you buy a new ultrawide monitor because you want/need to view multiple screens at once, as I did and your macbook air will not allow you to configure the display settings to what is needed for the ultrawide screen to look normal, this inexpensive cord fixed the problem for me.I guess the issue is my mac is considered to be old and can not be updated to any OS beyond Monterey. And therefore, there are no options, even within advanced display settings, such as holding down the option key, etc to select an appropriate screen resolution.I was using a Thunderbolt 2 or mini display port to HDMI cord with my old 24 inch LG monitor with no issues. But, I guess, new monitors like my LG 45 Ultragear model 45GR65DC require a true 4K Thunderbolt cord. Also, I guess it was important to ensure the new cord wasn't HDMI, but was a 4K DisplayPort to Thunderbolt. I am so thrilled. All of a sudden, my display preferences contained more options and allowed for a more customized resolution setting, though it might not be the 5120 recommended, it's 3100. But it's fine. Text is clear and crisp and non-distorted.
