Shoe is bulkier than I’m used to but very sturdy & comfortable for walking. Roomier in the toe area. Does not slip. True to size. I needed more stability when walking. These will last forever.

Okay, I don't know what the issue is with the negative reviews because after YEARS of searching for a light weight/breathable hiking boot I have finally found what I've been looking for. For ONCE IN MY LIFE, I now own hiking shoes that hold my tiny heel in, but DONT make me feel like im breaking a bone when the side of the shoe rubs against my tailors bunyons. My heel doesn't slip out at ALL (Which has always been a major issue with my feet). This shoe is somehow both incredibly supportive yet molds to your out due to whatever material it is. It's also super breathable, but the rubber lining on the bottom also helps protect against mud.It's not a waterproof boot. There are a huge variety of hiking boots/shoes, and I say you just gotta know what your looking for. These are PERFECT for spring/summer hikes. The breathability helps prevent blisters for me and my feet don't get too hot! If you're wanting a water proof boot I'd say go with a more technical salomon boot. This one is perfect for day hikes or everyday wear.I've actually never written an Amazon review and I buy so many products here. I just feel there aren't enough reviews that give this shoe love and I have never been so amazed with a shoe fit in my entire life. It also needs positive pictures!I got 7 1/2, which is my true size. I'm just stunned here.

I love wearing these shoes out because of how comfortable they are. I do not have to worry about slipping with these shoes since they are hiking shoes with ridged sole bottoms.My only qualm and it's biggest flaw is that it has laces, unlike other Salomon shoes. It does untie frequently and I believe it may be due to the thick thick laces. I'm looking to replace them with laces that are less likely to untie. I have not yet tried these for hiking due to the laces untying quickly and my fear of stepping on them. Otherwise, i love them for spicing up a regular outfit.

These shoes fit comfortably right out of the box. I’ve used them for multiple rucks/hikes and they hold up to water and terrain. Minor blisters on the first wear, but I’ve used them in all types of terrain and they are lightweight, versatile and comfortable. I like the appearance and they are worth the money.

We love the Solomon line of shoes and boots works well for my wife and I. I'm a fan of the Speed Cross series due to the light weight and the traction works well in our rocky desert the ultra pioneer works well for working when you are running around on your feet all day pounding pavement.

Just didn't fit my foot correctly.

This is my 2nd pair of Salomon hiking shoes and I love them! The fit is perfect and the construction is a very high quality. I have recently relocated to a hotter climate and truly enjoy the breathability of these shoes. I am partial to the green color as it tends to blend with whatever I wear with them. I have been complimented on these shoes a few times! I believe Salomon makes great trail runner and hiking shoes and plan to always have a pair. Highly recommend!

Bought these for a trip to Maine and waterproof shoes were a must. These were really comfortable, but they ARE NOT WATERPROOF. I'm was so disappointed especially since they were on the expensive side. Back to another brand...
