I bought this stair gate to stop my elderly Shih Tzu from climbing steep stairs, and it has been absolutely perfect! The gate comes with clear, easy-to-follow instructions, all the necessary fittings, and even templates, making installation a breeze. What really impressed me is how versatile the design is. It includes spare hooks, which allowed me to set up one gate at the bottom of the stairs and use the spare hooks to create a barrier for another room. You can see in the attached photo how the same gate functions as a barrier for both the stairs and a separate room.Unlike traditional wooden swing gates, this one is incredibly discreet—it doesn’t take up space or get in the way, making it ideal for both pets and children. Great, easy to use and durable. We have it for over a year now and love it. One hand operation possible. Make sure not to mount directly over the stairs.

The media could not be loaded. East to install and use. Not built to be sturdy really as the composition of the fabric is totally flexible. However , it’s a good product and definitely would recommend for use as a safety gate. Can also be moved from one place to another as it’s supplied with spare fixing components. ( handy)We’ve placed it in our garden at the top of our steps just as a temporary gate for our toddler granddaughter . Great value for money too.

My puppy could go underneath it even on the locked position as the material is too flexible. It works well on our stairs, though, as they are wider and we put it in front of the the next step.

I ordered this to be compact when away and to fit an awkward sized gap. Installation was fairly straightforward. No issues in use beyond it being a little tricky one handed due to its flexibility. No complex steps to open and close.I bought this for a dog gate and it's great for my dog, a strong or boisterous dog may be able to push through but mine us small.I think the strength needed would prevent very young children from opening this.Retracts well without catching.I'd definitely recommend for unusual spaces or where a solid gate would be awkward or unwieldy.A good price for the build and quality.

Purchased last August, and was disappointed with how flimsy the screen was even when extended and locked.However the plastic holding this in place has broken within a year with expected daily use and wear.I used this to section off a kitchen in an open floor plan, but definitley would not suggest is safe for stairs with young children or pets.

This is a must for anyone with stairs, or for windows that cannot be locked. We have one for our stairs; this one was bought to go across the lounge windows to prevent our toddler from falling out. It was easy to install, retractable if needs be, it is lockable, washable and is worth every penny. I think all double stories, apartments, etc where there are children, should invest in these.
