No tedious rolling that could go wrong! Awesome product!
NOTE; THE PIX’S ARE OF MY VERY FIRST USE. It’s well made and all plastic, so no rusting. Very easy to clean. Saves about 75%? of the time not having to roll each roll and have it stick to the bamboo covering or otherwise mess up! Each roll comes out consistent and firm. You don’t even need the bamboo roller. Make sure you leave about 1/2 inch where the plunger starts. Notice I did not pack the rice all the way to the end. If you do, it will come out longer than the seaweed. Also, be sure to pack the rice a bit firm. The finished roll is 1-3/4" across. Also, I suggest using a skinny-blade knife to cut the rolls, and wash it off each time and smear a little oil on it to minimize sticking. I’m using sesame oil. I also smear oil on the chute. Make sure you compress the whole thing with the end-cap on, otherwise it can fall apart after you squeeze it onto the seaweed. Some contents will ooze out the sides. I really prefer the brand seaweed i show. I got it from Ralphs in Murrieta, ca. it’s also a zip-lock. I’m sure many places carry it, but none around here. I did try another brand, and it was like chewing on a party balloon! Also note, the instructions say to fill with 3 cups of rice! I used 1 1/2 cup dry rice to cook, and it made 3 full rolls with rice left over. Good luck, and enjoy!

It works!
I can’t have sushi at a restaurant due to later in life allergies (anaphylactic) to fish and shellfish. I’ve been craving sushi and missed it, I decided to get this tool in the hope that I could make my own vegetarian sushi. It worked! reason for 4* is it pretty cheaply made and if it wasn’t 1 day delivery I wouldn’t pay more than $5 for it.

Big Fun
It’s fun to do in front of your dinner guests, and it makes a perfect 1 cup of rice sushi cylinder. Perfect and really cheap.

This is the way.
I was convinced this gadget was a useless gimmick but my kids begged me to get it, so I finally caved in just so they could see how useless "Instagram purchases" usually are. Well, I totally had to eat my hat on this one. This makes amazingly beautiful rolls with pretty much no effort. They do slide out. They do not fall apart. They cut beautifully. Unless you are a chef, forget bamboo mats. This is the way.

mostly worked
even if I use the correct rice it does not stick together like it is suppose to

Works well
Works well, key is the right rice and a sharp knife using recommended cutting technique.

Fun to use
You'll probably want to watch some videos on usage to get the hang of it, but once you do it's a snap. Fun to use and easy way to make sushi. Top rack dishwasher safe. Some have said the tabs holding the 2 sides closed have snapped so I've been gentle with them and it hasn't been a problem for me.
