Curad Mediplast wart remover worked in less than a week- Super easy/non invasive!
This is probably the most single amazing medical purchase I have ever made! My 9 yr old daughter had a planters wart on the bottom of her big toe. She is deathly afraid of needs & doctors so I had to find a alternate non-invasive fix. By the time I discovered the wart it was already formed & well established. I am not exaggerating when I say that Curad Mediplast quickly & safely removed her wart in ONE weeks time!Shipping: arrived in a tiny flat envelope barely bigger than the size of a large bandaid so I almost missed it in my mail as I literally mistook it for regular mail! I'm used to padded envelopes or boxes! How awesome that the environment wasn't taken advantage of when shipping this item!Directions/Ease of use: Directions are written on the "bandaid" pkg covering. It did not come in a box. It's written tiny so an older person may have a hard time reading it. I modified the instructions slightly. This is what I did:.1. clean area (my daughter put it on after she showered, but instructions also say you can clean the wart differently)2. cut a tiny portion of the "wart bandaid" in a circle to cover the entire wart *but NOT the good skin surrounding the wart).. Note: this comes in a large piece so you need scissors to cut to size needed. It's important you cut it to fit only the size of the wart because there is acid on the portion that touches the wart & I can only imagine that it would take off good skin if it touched it. I easily cut mine in a circle the size of the wart by eyeballing it. Once I had to cut it a bit smaller. I would suggest cutting it slightly bigger until you get the hang of it so that you have the option to cut it smaller, because if you cut it too small from the get go you will have to re-cut a new piece. But again, if you only have 1 wart 1 "bandage" is more than you will need anyway so a bit of waste by mistake will be not big deal.3. Peel off bandaid backing (having fingernails does help for this part).4. Place sticky part of Curad Mediplast circle that you cut on to the wart5. Put a normal bandaid over it (optional if you use athletic tape). Depending on location of the wart you can use one or the other to ensure it stays on.6. wrap athletic tape over it all to prevent it from falling off. Note: this was only necessary because it was on the bottom of her big toe & I was worried the Curad Mediplast would fall off when taking on/off her shoes, when she swam, etc.7. Take off Curad Mediplast every 48 hours.Repeat Steps 1-6 until one day when you take off the Curad Mediplast that it takes off the entire wart with it. In my daughter's case the black dots of the wart & the calloused portion of the wart came off in a partial piece. However, at that same moment we decided to add another piece and the 2nd piece took it off immediately via the adhesive. The skin where her wort was looks as though a few layers of skin were taken off in a circular pattern, but her skin seems to be growing back nicely a month later. We only put this on her about 3 or 4 times over the course of a week (it fell off after going to the beach one day so we reapplied sooner than 48 hours once.It has been about a month since her wart was gone from using this product & I have not seen it return!Summary:I cannot recommend this product enough! It's easy enough for my 9 year old to do completely by herself & it actually works! She swam about 3 times during the course of that week & this product was still effective!Gone ore the days of liquid compound W (which I had trouble with in my childhood)Note: I only used only about 1/5th of one "wart bandaid"..unless you have tons of warts you do not need to order multiple pkgs. I still have 1 full Curad Mediplast bandaid, plus 4/5ths of the one I used (mine came in a pack of two).

It's working!
You have to be diligent and apply it consistently until the wart is gone. Don't give up.

Very effective plantar wart treatment.
My foot doctor gave me one, but I couldn't find any more in my local pharmacies. The little Dr Scholl's dots are often ineffective and expensive to use. Cut a 1/2" square of this and put it on for two days. Tape it on. Repeat twice or so.

Wart pads
They work well. I used them on my feet. If they stayed dry they stayed put. If I was sweating or had sweaty feet, they came loose..

Doesn't adhere well and ineffective
Doctor recommended these for callouses so bought 2 pkts. It didn't adhere on big toes well from the beginning. Tried to secure with med tape but still fell off. No obvious medicine on the patch. Maybe it's more for straight, flat skin surfaces or to just cushion the callous... I don't recommend. BTW sealed and unused pkg not returnable.

It works on planters warts
I had a small wart on the bottom of my foot, 2 years ago. I waited to long to take care of it quickly and after about a year was about the size of a pencil eraser around. I tried the freeze away can with dabbing tips (more than doubled the recommended freeze time, and repeated, and again every 2 weeks) 2 full cans later, 2 bottles of liquid freeze away, and a few self attempts with a razor, it was still there. I decided to give this a try, while being a bit skeptical. I cut the pads only large enough to cover the wart, and used the waterproof tape to keep it in place. I changed the pad every other night and I would also use a foot scrubber in the shower until the wart bled (I wanted it gone). It took nearly 2 month to use up one pad, and it appeared the wart was still there. I decided to let my foot heal a bit before I started round two, but to my surprise the wart disappeared.Note: This does make your skin a bit raw and will turn it white, you are putting acid on your skin after all. It's not so raw that it hurts, likely depends where the wart is and how much you scrub it down, but it's nice to be wart free after all this time. I probably scrubbed the wart down more than other people would have, and they tend not to stop bleeding very fast.I RECOMMENDNote: My foot would itch like crazy at times around and under the pad. Of course it hurt to much to scratch the wart, but felt so good to scratch around it. You get a few funny looks from family when doing this.

Not as good as they used to be
I have had great success with this product in the past, and the medication may still be there, but it needs to stay in place to keep working. This latest version does not stay on without adding tape or band aid to assist the adhesive, which make it more uncomfortable. A disadvantage over what it used to be. This product is a bit thinner also which to me isn’t a plus or minus, but the cushion is sometimes a benefit to soften the contact.
