At 6'2 / 300lbs there was no way one of those bed in a box beds was gonna be comfortable for me. We spent Big money on big beds from big name stores as a rule. But after a flood we didnt expect, and in a hurry with no planned money set aside....we bought a Dream Cloud. And in have to admit I was WRONG . Dream Cloud is ,. without contest,. the most perfectly comfortable , absolutely supportive , cool temperature mattress i have ever owned. ...i just love it. It took about 3-4 months to break in the mattress to where it wasn't hard as a rock and painful to sleep on. Once broken in, it's great!

After years of cycling through zinus mattresses I invested in this on the rec of a friend. It's another level- I'm a big guy so foam mattresses have sinkholes after a year and are worn out in 2. This provides great support on my side or stomach and is totally worth it so far. Not sure on longevity yet but I hear good things.

Builds up heat over nite and becomes too hot.Top layer delaminated fm mattress and created a lump in the middle.Nice when new, but does not hold up for the long run.

It feels good once you get away from the sides. Too much effort to get comfortable!

I’ve had dream cloud before and lived it. Maybe it’s because there is a big person on each side of the bed and a lot of little animals in the middle that the mattress sags in the middle. But I don’t think so. The moment I let it set for 72 hours the mattress still had not firmed up on the sides. Full in the middle though! That’s good.

I did a lot of research when we decided we needed a new mattress, and this one seemed like a good fit. And for the first few weeks I was really happy and sleeping better. However, around the one month mark, I started noticing back, hip, and shoulder pain again. I’ve tried adjusting my sleep position and pillows, but that hasn’t changed anything. I toss and turn all night, and I’ve also noticed that the longer we’ve had it (about 10 weeks now), the more it tends to indent in the place you lay the longest. I end up rolling toward my husband, or if I’m sleeping alone, I can roll to one side of the bed and feel like I’m almost rolling uphill to a much firmer place on the mattress. At this point, I’m mostly just glad I researched and went with a mattress that has such a generous return policy.As far as buying a “mattress in a box,” though, I was impressed with the process. It arrived and set up very easily with no issues, and it was its normal size quickly. Like many reviews, we noticed that the edges of the bed are not very firm and you sink very low if you’re sitting there.
