I usually buy cheap socks. You know, the multipacks you buy at Wal-Mart. I needed a sock for long walks and jogs so I took a chance of this rather expensive sock. It is everything it claims to be. Very comfortable, cushy even. Definitely blister resistant. I really does wick away sweat. The length is just high enough so that no part of my shoe touches my foot. The back is a little longer. I did get a sore middle toe the first time I wore it. I think it was because I just pulled up the sock and the inside layer was tighter that the outside layer. I roll the sock all the way down and put it over my toes in an even manner without pulling it tight. Then I make sure the sock isn't pulled tight but just so it is smooth all the way over my heel. When I put on my shoes I make sure the laces aren't so tight that it pulls the sock tight over the toes. It seems like a lot of work but it only takes a few seconds. It's better than a sore toe for the rest of the day. I'll be buying more of these for everyday and throwing out all those cheap Wal-Mart socks.
