Best part is quality
These work great . Easily installed with no trouble Easy to read and are reliable. I have bought a total of four and have not replaced any batteries in two years. They function as described. When my mower was in the shop the tech said he compared it with his test equipment and found it was very accurate ( within 1% ) I highly recommend this as it is always nice to know hours and rpm’s

Wrong RPMs, but good HR meter
No matter 4,6,8,10 winding turns the RPMs on my WEN Inverter Generator are shown wrong.Good Hour meter but not reliable tach.

Worked very well, only downside is that you can’t replace the battery.

Would recommend
Great little device for my engine, removed the governor on my minibike but still have stock flywheel, use this to monitor my rpm and puts my mind at ease. Great for tracking hours too.

Avoid
Followed instructions precisely and even set it for the type of engine I was testing for my mower. The rpm’s are so off on this tachometer it seems s virtually useless to use for anything other than an hour meter. Avoid this unit and buy something of better quality. I am consistently getting a rpm reading that this little engine is incapable of producing. Used my neighbors tachometer to find out this tach is off by thousands of rpm’s. Avoid

very acurate, quick and easy to install.
So, I bought 2 of these units to install on each of my 1930 Ford Model A's. Are they 'period correct'? Nope but just lid Dragnets Joe Friday.....I just want the Facts! And these are great! Less than 10 min each to install and I really like the 'hours' of running time as well as the Tach function. Just what I wanted and needed.
