Get the name brand
Great price for name brand safety equipment. Didn’t want to chance off brand glasses and have had poor results in the past like distorted view. These are crystal clear and the first set is holding up good 1 week in of home shop use.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed. It's always good to have eye protection if you ever have to cut small pieces of metal. Anyone who does such things should have a pair of these to wear while doing so. They're easy to see through, very light, and inexpensive.

My Preferred Safety Glasses
These are the best bulk safety glasses I've found. Working with steel, there aren't any glasses that are scratch resistant, but these do really well. There are two main things that sell me on these glasses, and that's the fit and the vision. They fit my face perfectly, and they're light enough for me to forget I have them on. The biggest reason for me is that they don't have any distortion in the vision. Most other brands I've tried tend to bend around the edges, and it almost makes me nauseous when looking around, but these glasses do a really good job of not screwing with my vision.

Nice glasses, fumbly wrapping
Great glasses but time consuming to remove protective film. Not a good product for visitor glasses.

Z 87 safety glasses
These come in different tints, all are UV protecting. This is clear ones, totally clear. Z 87 rated safety glasses so protect against some things. We wear these in clear for shop and yard work and some hobby work, lightly tinted grey for general sunglasses and driving, and the dark tint for outdoor work or as true sunglasses.Bulk pack is the way to go when using as shop glasses as things can happen, and it's nice to have new ones at hand. This style is a wraparound with good visibility and general comfort when wearing.Advantage to wearing a pair outside any time one goes out, it helps protect the eyes and surrounding area from UV exposure and will add to preventing passive aging (after fifteen years of wearing this type of glasses all the time, it shows, can vouch for this). And a few times, in general out and about, have had things hit the eye area and protected eyes from damage. Just enough, just often enough, to be glad to be wearing. Just enough accidents, just enough incidents, that I can't praise this style of glasses enough. Also good for post lasik/cataract surgery when one is told to wear UV protection afterwards (forever).

Old style
These are the old style 3M glasses. The new ones are lighter, fit closer to the face, have slots on end for strap and are a little taller so that I don't need a hat. Don't get me wrong, these are great and my son uses them everyday due to glare issues. I have to send the school the spec sheet to certify there are safety and not some toy that would shatter on impact. If he loses one, no big deal. We go through a box every year and a half.
