Assembly
Scroll to 2nd paragraph if you want to know exactly what to do:A very good piece of equipment. I have the chin-up bar as well. IMO you do not need the mounting hardware that came with the product. I ran into a problem trying to find a 14mm drill bit. Did not have one and the bit I had that was smaller made hole too small and used next size larger bit and it made the hole too big but proceeded as really only one of the bolts was causing the problem. (The picture you see is after adjustment was made.) Once finished the bolt we had issues with was loose and we could not get secure.Troubleshooting steps and what I recommend: 1. mount 2x2 plywood to studs with four 4" lag bolts and washers [dont use 6" unless you want the end of the screw to go through your drywall especially if you have a room on the other side). It just so happened that mine lined up on center below my Valor chin-up bar which is very quality. A good dip bar height is between 54-57" from the floor (armpit level) and since I have chin-up bar above needed to make sure I had head clearance. 2. Drill two 2x4s cut to the same length as plywood (24") into the plywood with wood screws (4). place Valor mounting bracket on 2x4s at the height you want and make penciled circles for where you are drilling mounting bracket. Use 1/2" drill bit for lag bolts. Drill five 4" lag bolts with washers into the mounting bracket to secure and you are good to go. very sturdy and much easier install. I would have saved 1.5 hours on install had I done this first.

Works great
Looks good and functions as advertised. It was a little banged up coming out of the box, but it will likely good scratched and dented in the gym anyway, so whatever.

Sturdy and Perfect width
Super happy with this dip station. First off, it is super sturdy, I am +200lbs and this thing handles my weight easily.Another aspect that I like and bought this for, is that it isn't too wide. I've had a pull-up/dip station that the dip bars were just too far out. These are at a perfect width IMHO.

Avoid! Poor quality and cheap hardware
Would not recommend this product! Due to poor quality and cheap hardwareThere are much better versions of this kind of product available on Amazon for comparable price. While the plate and bars are adequately sturdy, the quality is lacking. Metal burrs sticking out on several different areas that I had to hammer off to be able to get the connections together. The real kicker though was the installation. Firstly the instructions and the expansion bolts provided are in metric, so you'll have to hunt down metric drill bits for this to work properly if you don't have them already. I didn't, and neither did my local hardware stores. I later found the expansion bolts the company uses for these on amazon! That's the only way I was able to track down the exact sizing needed to complete the installation.Next, the expansion bolts provided were not correct! They did not match up with the ones noted in the instructions / correlate to the bit size they recommended in the slightest.Since I was drilling into concrete, I had to do just this as it had to be precise. In the end I just bought half inch expansion bolts from my hardware store and a half inch concrete bit to do the job myself. The bolts I bought were significantly better quality than the cheap ones provided by Valor Fitness.

Robust!
Very well built. I mounted it on my garage wall with a 2x12. Large tubes are comfortable in my hands. I’m 215 lbs and it doesn’t move!
