Works perfectly for my pool pump!
This is exactly what I was looking for to bypass my swimming pool timer! I wanted to create a cheap and reliable smart switch for my pool pump so I paired this with a WeMo smart switch so that I could turn the pump on and off through my phone, Siri, and Alexa. This is perfect!

Excellent contactor
This contactor is extremely quiet. We’re using it to turn off a water feature at night time. It’s operating off of a photocell. This normally closed contactor was perfect for the application.

Hit and miss with China products
The “red flag indicator” is loose inside the contactor! I purchased one of these to check the quality, I’m always leery of low priced china made items. Well, the sample unit I ordered had a “loose piece” inside rattling around, it is the little “red flag” indicator that shows through the little rectangular window indicating the status of the contactor. The unit works fine but I’m not happy with this flaw, so I’m sending it back for a replacement to try. The contactor seems to be a quality built product EXCEPT for this assembly flaw.. I’ll update my review after I receive the replacement.. I need 4 of these so I hope I just got a random bad unit!.(((( UPDATE.. )))) April12th, 2021. I just received the replacement contactor. ( super fast shipping, TY Amazon) Well, the “red flag” indicator is working just fine in this unit. This contactor is a really nice compact unit, So I’m ordering three more for my project ( I need 4 total) plus I’m ordering four additional units for future replacements if needed.. If any of you folks that are reading this review, and have “custom built” control panels with “din rail” mounted devices, then you know that replacement components don’t always fit the same “footprint” as the original parts installed. Trying to rework a control panel with replacement components from different Mfgr’s down the road IS a real nightmare! So I’m ordering 4 additional units as spares.
