These seeds arrived well-packaged and appeared very fresh, meaning they felt healthy and had a nice fresh scent. When I attempted to grow them hydroponically, in sprouting jars using the same method I have successfully used for other varieties of seeds, they clumped together and would not drain properly foiling every attempt. (Certain seeds do this, like chia seeds, which are not included in this mix... just don't even try those! They turn gooey!) I will eventually use these in a growing medium and I'm sure they'll be fine for microgreens based on other good reviews. In other words, they appear to be good, healthy seeds (for soil), just not for what I wanted them for (hydroponic sprouting).

Follow the instructions on the MVSC website and you'll be rewarded with a spicy and nutritious salad microgreen mix. If you stay on top of your watering and leave them with decent sunlight these seeds are very forgiving. I left two batches in different stages over the weekend and came home to zero issues.If you're just getting into micorgreens like I am then I can strongly recommend these to start out. Make sure to get a good bedding or potting soil supply and a spray bottle as well. I use shredded recycled paper from my household, but there are tons of natural bedding mats and ways to get potting soil if you want to go the traditional route.Happy growing and bon appetit!

Tuesday night, I put the seeds on a Biostrate Hydroponic Growing Mat and put the entire tray (covered) in my worm bin. I checked this morning (Thursday) and 99% of the seeds have sprouted. Great product. On Monday, I did the same for shiso seeds I bought from another seller and nothing.
