Best multi use book, it gets lots of love from strangers. Be sure to use a high quality leather preserver on it a few times.

My sister who is an antiques nut, loved the book, BUT it kinda creeped her out a bit. I told her you can put diary notes in it, you can make a really cool photo album out of it, or build a really cool recipe book. BUT it still creeped her out. I loved it, personally. It's not like I found it in an Indian burial ground or some spooky tomb. Jeebus.

Bought for my son, he loved it and said it was one of the best gifts he had ever received. The book is stunning and truly looks like something from medieval times, beautiful. I recommend buying this or any other of the journals from this company.

Love the craftsmanship and aesthetic of the book; however, the paper contained therein does not seem to agree with my Lamy fountain pens. The fine and medium tips are basically worthless to write on this paper without having to re-trace your letters a few times and write extraordinarily slow. A bold tip works the best; however, it still requires I slow my writing pace. A dip pen may work well and I did test with a ball-point that worked well also.

I was a bit hesitant because of the price but I am so sick and tired of the cheap ledgers I use to keep backups of my passwords etc. having the words fade out to where I can barely read it plus I wanted something nice so I took a chance and I absolutely love this. I got a fountain pen to go with it so I don't have to worry about the ink fading and the pages are nice and thick so there is no bleed through. This is a perfect item to gift to someone you know that like to draw or sketch.

I’ve gotten so many compliments from this book! The only issue is the pages sometimes do fall out, but besides that it’s perfect. The paper is an amazing texture and is perfect for drawing or writing in pen

I can not express enough how beautiful this journal is. The quality is absolutely stunning . Pages are thick and made to look old from another time. The quality of the leather is amazing and the journal all together is well constructed and very solid . I tried to capture the color of the leather , it is a medium brown. I would def buy this again and highly recommend it!
