I dont leave many reviews nowadays but i am SO IMPRESSED by this tiny clock that i just had to….i homeschool my son & i try to use as many hands on “toys” as possible to make it feel more like play (bc when he knows im expecting to actually learn something & retain the info, he is immediately disinterested 🙄) I already have the Melissa & doug clock that was helpful to teach what time the clock actually says but you have to move the hands independently. On this clock, the hour hand moves as the minute hand moves so they are both accurately positioned at all times (which i think makes it easier to learn). I needed something that would make learning elapsed time easy so i looked at everything related only to discover how unnecessarily expensive every was!!! So when i came across this, I thought for sure the reviews were BS bc it looks so cheap/flimsy in the pictures - w/the quality of something off wish.com. To my surprise, although it is as small as I anticipated, it’s actually pretty solid in its build & is extremely functional!! From the min/hour hands moving in-sync, the removable # lines that have different levels, meaning, 1 has a marking to represent every single min, another only marks the hours & most importantly of all, my son is independently playing with it as i text this @7pm ON A SUNDAY!!! It also comes with a tiny booklet of ideas for use that is explained in seemingly 18 different languages (it’s pretty thick lol)If you’re buying this bc you need a highly functional, very affordable tool to help make the concept of time/elapsed time easier for you to explain & for your student to understand…..BUY IT!!! You wont be disappointed….

Best Interchangeable Visual Clock/Time/Number Line Product!!!
This was one of the best visual aids for teaching time! It has several interchangeable parts that are magnetic so that you can display the numbers involved in hours and minutes in an easy to see format. They can be viewed not only in clock form but in a number line format as well. This helps students visualize the elapsed time concept. It is the only product you will need to explain to your students the concept of time! It is magnetic so you can display on a board or there is a built in easel if you want to display on a table. Very versatile.

Kids 2-4 love this
This is great to teach your kids numbers & to tell time on traditional clocks with hands. Definitely more affective than digital clocks. Having 2 rings to tell time for morning & night is great for 2 kids, because they can both play & learn together. The differnt colors helps them understand morning & night are diffrent. Definitely great for basic learning & homeschooling.

Amazing addition to our homeschool hands on learning supplies
UPDATE 04/06/2021:All my kids from my preschool to my 3rd grader are now using this clock. My third grader is using it as a number line to calculate how much time has elapsed whereas my preschooler is learning time. The one thing that they don't advertise but we use ALL the time is a dry erase marker on this thing. It helps for marking off while calculating time or just to color in with different colors so my preschooler knows that the when it points to the space between the numbers, it refers to the smaller number. Overall this is such a great learning tool!---------------------------Original Review Below----------------------------TLDR Review:Pros:+ Numbers come off to make a number line to help kids visualize+ Gears help turn the hour hand when the minute hand makes a full rotation+ Reversible bands connect to form a full 24-hour AM/PM number line to help with calculating time+ Dry erase markers write/erase well to help with teaching conceptsCons:- Reversed AM/PM bands don't work well on the clock because of the way the number line is drawn- Would have been nice if they had included a band labeled down to the minute with 5 minute intervals (see my DIY version in photos/description in detailed review)Overall this clock is an amazing addition to our homeschool supplies. It certainly has made it easier for my kids to visualize and calculate time.Detailed Review Below:We have been struggling with calculating how much time when going from AM to PM and this clock is exactly what we needed. You can pull off the clock and make a number line to help kids visualize the hours. How genius is this? It comes with two reversible bands that allow you to connect the AM and PM. That way the kids can see a full twenty-four hours in a single number line and this helps visualize that calculating how much time is just as easy as simple addition/subtraction.With my younger kids I use this clock to help them visualize a whole hour. When you move the blue minute hand a single rotation, the red hand moves exactly an hour to help kids visualize how many minutes an hour would take. Here is my list of would be nice if they included features. 1. It would have been nice if they made it so that the AM/PM sides could actually sit on the clock. The way they painted the lines on those sides, you can't place them on the clock in that orientation (see picture). 2. While I think it is nice that they included a band that has 3/6/9/12 to help kids with estimation, I wish instead that they included the minutes counting up by 5 to assist kids with figuring out and counting to the minutes. If you looked at the photos, we took the 3/6/9/12 band and used a dry erase marker to DIY a counting by 5's version for home. It works okay but when we are working with counting down the the minute, it would have been helpful had they included a band with one minute intervals labeled every 5 mins.Overall even with the it would be nice to have features, this clock is an amazing addition to our homeschool supplies. It certainly has made it easier for my kids to visualize and calculate time.

very good design for kids to learn telling time
The media could not be loaded. this is a learning clock with 2 detachable number line chains, each of them are double sided, different scales on the chains, for kids to learn the time in minutes, quarters, hours as well as 12 hours am to pm transitionthe clasps of the chains are magnetic, so they will snap nicely when put around the clock, or taken out to form a long time chainparticularly i like the gear design that moving the minute hand will also drive the hour hand automatically, never seen a learning clock with this mechanism, i think this is absolutely useful for kids to understand why most of the time hour hand is not pointing exactly to the hour numbermy little one seems did better time telling with this clock, because she only need to take care of the minute hand and the hour will position correctly, hence she also understand how the hour hand works with the minute changei’m very satisfied with this product, would highly recommendhope you find these information helpful

A novel idea for teaching your child to tell the time
This is a blue clock face that comes with two detachable number rows.It has moveable minute and second hands. It also has a kickstand on the back, so that it can stand up.You can remove and flip the number rows so that your child can see hours, minutes, etc and start to learn the different ways of reading a clock and talking about time. The removable strips are very flexible and click into place on the face, so they won't fall off when it's standing upright.I got this for my daughter as I thought she would be interested in learning to tell the time. Unfortunately, she is not! However, I'm sure this will be great when she is a bit older. It is a useful tool to help children practice telling the time, and you can also set it to a time you are talking about to help them understand what it would look like on a clock.
