Great knife, excellent EDC option.
Knife is super smooth and opens and closes without much effort. Crossbar lock is excellent and also really smooth. Very thin behind the edge. Great EDC with excellent steel for the money.

Sharp, thin blade
This is a very nice EDC knife with an Axis-type locking system and good premium PM steel. Likes: blade steel, blade thinness, locking system, grippy thick G10 scales, ball-bearing-type pivot. Cons: somewhat heavy(I think they could have milled out the liners more, tops 4.5 ounces. Also note: when I got the knife I noticed that in the closed position the blade had some up-down play, i.e. jiggled a bit. I ordered a second knife and noticed it too manifested the same slight jiggle. I reckoned that this was a design peculiarity rather than a one-off defect.Locked open the blade is rock solid.

It does not say Studies and Observations group on the blade but it does say Pentagon XR made in Taiwan. It very much has a cheap feel

Another Great SOG EDC Knife!
Love this knife from SOG! Flipper & thumb studs both deploy its beautiful sharp blade with ease. This blade came super sharp, and I love that SOG really thought it through (by sharpening the tip of the spine). Just a GREAT knife!

It's ok , but not worth 174
1st off it made in Taiwan not usa , 2nd the finger flipper is near almost impossible to use , it's an ok knife but for a price of around 65.00 or so not 174.00

Over Priced
This is a good knife. However, it's way over priced. SOG, has better knifes that are around $50.00 and will hold a sharper edge longer.My advise. Take a pass on this knife! Way over priced. It's like they think if we charge almost two or three times more money for a knife that you can find for around $50-$60 bucks that are much better.
