I needed a summer hoodie for work when it's 50 degrees in the early morning then 96 degrees in the afternoon and this is perfect. It's also great when you go into a store that the AC is overpowering when you first enter. I'd recommend going up a size if you want it a bit longer because size L sits above my bottom and I'd like it to fit halfway down which the XL does on me, but that could just be because I'm pudgy at the moment from post natal. I can't wait to workout in this lightweight comfy hoodie.

Love this lightweight jacket for warm weather. Some reviews mentioned that the jacket shrank when washed and dried so I ordered a Medium size in case I encountered the same issue. After washing and drying my jacket, it did shrink a little but not substantially (I did pull the jacket from the dryer while it was still a bit damp and put it on a hanger to finish drying). The jacket fit well without being too loose or too tight and I hope to gat a lot of wear from it.NOTE: The material is very thin (similar to thin t-shirt material) but I still love it!

I have been searching all the Earth for a hoodie made from light enough fabric to be useful in the summer. I was so delighted when I found this, that I ordered five of them.However when I washed the gray one, which is a different fabric blend containing nylon, it shrank. The sleeves are tight, and it's no longer true to size. You can see from the picture that the identical hoodie in Navy is quite a bit larger now. Both have been washed in cold water. Neither have ever been in the dryer.If you want the gray color, then I recommend ordering a size up.Warm weather update:Now that the season has turned humid and warm, I'm finding the fabric not nearly as cool as I thought it was. Even though it's light enough to see through, the 100% cotton is not cool. Furthermore, it's much stiffer than I'd like, and not as comfortable as I thought it would be.The perfect fabric for a summer hoodie is the one I have had for 10 years: a simple 60% cotton 40% polyester knit. It's stretchy, comfortably cool, and incredibly durable. The other hoodie Hanes makes is the fiber composition I want, but they make it into a terry cloth, so it's way too hot for summer.I'm disappointed and frustrated. And I have a whole closet full of uncomfortable hoodies.

I wasn't expecting much for this low price, but I love these lightweight little jackets ! It's teeshirt thin, which is exactly what I was going for. I work out, so these are perfect for the gym.Because I work out, my shoulders are a bit broad and I usually get large jackets. I don't like anything overly tight. I sized up to XL for these, because I worried about shrinkage after washing due to being 100% cotton, and it's perfect. Washed up nicely. Not wrinkly. I tumble dried on low for a bit and then hung up to finish drying, and that seemed to work great.I've ordered this in black and white. I will definitely order more colors for those breezy summer nights at the shore !

It’s comfy and a good hoodie for cool spring nights. I’m 5’ 120lbs. It’s a little big on me. I ordered a size small. I like for my zip ups to fit a little more snug. If an xs was an option, I would have returned for the smaller size. Overall I’m happy with it for a casual hoodie. I didn’t notice any shrinking.

First to get my biggest review pet peeve out of the way, my height, weight, and the size I buy, please try to add this info to your reviews It’s so helpful. I’m 5’5, weigh between 215 to 225, I am muscularly built so I wear a size 14-16 or L pant and a L to XXL in tops. I get these zip ups mostly in XXL but I also get the XL which I like when I want a little bit more of a fitted look. They aren’t to short, long, or tight for my height/build, blessed up top & bottom 😉 w/a bubbly booty and the XXL hits a couple inches above mid booty. I also get an XL which is about same length, obv a bit more form fitting in the right places, especially the waist but it doesn’t flare all weird at the bottom and the arms aren’t too tight. But I wouldn’t be able to comfortably zip an XL all the way up over the girls without uni-boob haha or just weird looking, but I prefer to wear both sizes zipped about 2 inches above my belly button anyways.I’ve been purchasing these hoodies for probably 10 years so obv I absolutely love them & they really helped bring my confidence back up after my body changed which then helped me to start trying other types of sweaters and tops and different outfits that I never would’ve thought to wear and how to style pieces differently to accentuate my gifts, that keep on giving 😉They’re the perfect thickness, especially for women going through hot flashes 🥵 🪭 or if you’re naturally hot blooded rarrr lolThey hold up well, regular wash/dry, they don’t pill, no zipper issues, they run true to size, perfect amount of stretch, comfortable med soft/thick cotton material.I like that I can wear these for a very casual lounge or work out look obv, & with a cami or v neck t-shirt under for a little flirt, w/leggings, shorts, flip flops etc or pair it with some cute jeans, a lace trim cami, casual jewelry, and a pair of low boots or even wedge sandals for a great “I made an effort” look lolAnd huge plus, they’re often on sale and you can’t beat a casual zip up for under $20 & even as low as $8 on sale. I know this is a long post, but these are all questions that I often have about tops especially zip ups & sweaters. I’m also a bit obsessed with these sweatshirts bcuz they gave me a huge boost of confidence, and helped me learn to embrace and style my fuller figure, when I really needed that.So needless to say, I absolutely love these & Hanes should hire me to be a spokesperson 😆 I hope my post helped answer some questions for people. I wanted a lightweight hoodie and it is but it's 100% cotton so make sure you order a bigger size because it does shrink and when it shrinks it also takes away from the length. So just be aware, I ordered the Briny pink because it said it was a coral color which it really isn't it's still pink I almost want to say that they sent me the pink one but I'm not sure on that anyway I'm going to keep it because I do want a lightweight one and I did return one because I knew it was going to shrink a lot so I got another one. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up
