Worth every penny. There is no issue with this product
I needed to clone a set of radios that nobody at work knew the tones or frequencies. In 15 minutes I was able to accurately reproduce all frequencies and digital tones and was then able to program a group of radios in no time. It paid for itself on it's very first use. The tones were exact. The frequencies were very close. But knowing how radio frequencies are allocated I was able to adjust the stated frequencies to the closest allocated frequency and completed the task without problem. This was a perfect choice. If I never have a need for it again I will still be very happy with this purchase.

unbeliveble good
this think rock's!I could not connect together 2 diffrent radio with ctcss same code *.6, this toy showed me why, the ctcss code both number 6 but the output code was diffrent. So i played with the meter and radios to match the ctcss code up and bang , now we can make a call and chat.Nice looking and very accurate. But u have to hold the walkie very close or you get wrong readings, but thats not a problem!Im very happy to have this toy......>>>>

Came on time, range is weak but pretty accurate
It came on time, but the one i received today apparently is a used/return, it's missing the charger box also range is very weak i have to physically touch the antenna with the counters antenna to get a reading, but it appears to be pretty accurate when i finally gotten it to read, my radio said 27.1650 the counter picked up 26.1660. If the range was stronger and worked correctly I'd give 5 stars even with the missing charger block. Only 1 antenna was wrapped inside the package also.

Very Accurate, easy to use Handheld frequency counter
During the last hurricane response there were two agencies arguing on what frequency they were transmitting on. Without a laptop to read their radios I was able to tell each one what frequency they were transmitting on with this little handheld. For the price this frequency counter is amazing. I have deployed to three disasters and I keep this in my go back because it always comes in handy. It tough, and seen a little abuse due to the weather but it keeps on working. Highly recommend this little hand held. I keep it in a small plastic case brought separately for travel purpose.

WORKED for a whole 30 minutes. The MANUAL is very sad and useless!
This Counter DID work, but after 30 minutes only a few digits would flash now and then? Only a handheld radio would display it's expected frequency, but it needed to be closer than 5 feet and that is 'dangerous power' to a Counter 'front end'! I was NOT expexting a spectrum analyzer, but Los Angeles is TEAMING with RF almost everywhere ~ except on THIS display. I thought a Factory Reset would help and the "SELLER WAS PROMPT" with a reply, but I never could get this Counter to reset or function again? The term "door-knob" comes close, but I've lost way too much time with this little piggie so back it goes!PS, For a instrument with SO many options (in the Menu), a DECENT MANUAL is a fair thing to expect and ask! Buyers, you are on your own because they don't have one.

Great scanner
This little scanner kicks some serious but! It is very easy to use overall. The display is nice and bright and easy to to read. It will lock on and display the CTCSS within a second. Its ability to decode both analog and digital is very handy. Was able to read radios that had been useless because their freq and CTCSS was unknown. Now, they are working perfectly with other radios that I programmed to match.Having a built-in rechargeable battery is better than having a compartment to hold dead AA batteries. Even if you forget to charge the scanner, you can use a micro USB power supply in a pinch. After decoding unknown radios for a friend, he immediately bought one for himself. I would recommend this scanner to anyone who is thinking of adding a scanner to their tool kit.

It just may work?
USB power input not working upon arrival. Intermittent contact at the port,or on the board. When you pay a low price, you do expect low quality.
