Works great
Impressed. Glad I didn't have to spend a ton of money to get something functional. Works way better for our family for river runs & camping

This grill is great. I also got a cast iron skillet to replace the grates and it fits inside this perfectly. Combined with an adapter hose for a full size propane tank this is a perfect setup. It has held up well over many years of camping and household use.

Christmas Present
This was a Christmas gift to my grandson. I also have one. It is an excellent grill that is light weight and easy to clean. Very portable.

Could be a superb item, but 2 design flaws make this a definite PASS.
The grill seems to be very sturdy, it heats quickly and cooks evenly (when items are not placed directly in the center. I liked what looked to be its solid construction, the weight is great, and it looks cool. BUT, it has 2 really bad DESIGN FLAWS that make the grill really disappointing.Design Flaw #1: The Flame Tamer is located too high – that is, the Cooking Grate rests squarely on the flame tamer along its top. The result after one use of light cooking – veggies (mostly steaming) and 3 Impossible Burgers – is that the flame tamer is scorched, as seen in the photos included, and results in uneven cooking. The cooking grate, I would recommend, should be at least a half inch to one inch above the flame tamer along the mid, raised section. I just saw a similar model at a camping store which had the middle of the flame tamer slanted inward and down and open two inches in the middle.Design Flaw #2: As you can see in the photos, the bottom piece of sheet metal has gaps on two sides. It seems it is held in place by screws or rivets at the ends of each side but not along the middle. I don’t know if the gap is intentional and for air flow, but it creates a mess during cleanup as the soapy water drains not all into the Grease Cup, but out two sides of the unit all over the table. I would imagine that if I were to cook heavily greasy or fatty foods that those residues would also come out the sides.Be advised that when the Flame Tamer in place, it is impossible to see whether the burner has in fact ignited. I was able to tell that it had by waiting about 5 seconds and then being able to feel the heat being generated. The problem with this is that if the burner fails to ignite I will have propane being discharged without being aware until I smell the gas. Also, be aware that on Page 7 or the Owner’s Manual under the section entitled “Burner Flame Check,” there is a recommendation to adjust “the air damper (D).” However, there is no illustration of that part and certainly no “D” reference elsewhere. Neither one of your customer service representatives with whom I spoke could identify that part or tell me how to locate it on my unit. And one more note. The dimensions of the unit shown in the advertising on Amazon are incorrect. The measurements indicated are off by a number of inches in either direction. When I saw the unit online, and even after receiving it, I was quite impressed by its construction and thought the design was really nice - portable, sturdy, quality metal. I think that this model could indeed be a fabulous and very economical addition to outdoor cooking, but as it stands now it is quite disappointing.I did send all of this information and the photos to the company, but they have not responded in 10 days. I was hoping to get a reply before posting this review.
