Does a good job
This shredder is doing a really good job and is excellent value.*It was straight forward to assemble.*It has a collection bag, rather than a solid box, so it is less sturdy. However, this means it is light to manoeuvre which is assisted by the large wheels and an easy to grab handle.*The collection bag is a decent size, which simply attaches to two hooks, and catches the shreddings with no problems.*It has a 10m cable which is a decent length for shedding away from the house if there are no outside sockets.*I was able to shred larger branches with no issues as well as the normal plant clipping, leaves etc. It does comes with plunger to help push the garden waste into the funnel but I only needed to use this on a couple of occasions.*It does make a noise but I don't feel this is overly noisy at all.It makes good mulch or alternatively helps with being able to get more into my garden waste bin.

Powerful shredder
It's ok for what I use it for ie under 25mm dia branches and it works well pulling the branches through provided there's no strong side-branches. To get the best I would suggest trimming the branches first then other than the last few inches the branches don't need the plastic pusher. It's quite noisy but I have no neighbours to worry about but that is something you may consider. A lot of the shavings miss the collection bag such that I don't use it as it's easier to sweep them up afterwards. I have knocked a star off because it is inherently unstable, the base legs could do with being 6" wider as it's easily tipped over. Nevertheless it's good value and does the job well.

Robust machine
Very easy to assemble, sturdy machine. Looks very robust for your average domestic garden. Yet to be put to the test. Delivered within 48hrs so very impressed with that.

Good for small dry branches.
Having used this a couple of times over the last ~6 months, I have found some good and bad parts.Good parts:Cheap and easy to use10M cable.Bad parts:Very top heavy, moving it around can be a pain in the rear.Jams up very easily. Thought I was putting through a good mixture of sticks and green leaves, but it still jammed up.The paddle they give you to help feed it is useless, it breaks within a few uses. Totally rubbish!Wont self feed, the last machine I had was able to pull stick and material through itself. This one wont, which means you need to stand there and feed it in manually. Paddle didnt last long enough to help. Luckily i had my old paddle from my previous machine, its solid and still working fine!Sort of regret buying this now, ended up buying a 13HP petrol machine instead. Much better and no messing around, it may have been more expensive, but It should balance out with the time it will save instead of trying to use this.

Excellent. I can't fault it.
Absolutely brilliant. It makes short work of whole branches. It just gobble them up & fast. Far better than I expected after working on garden machinery 25 years ago. Shredders used to be pretty useless. I had considered buying a small professional machine, but with only 40 mature trees to maintain it was overkill. This is possibly a little small to cope with everything, but 45mm is sufficient for most jobs. 6" (150mm) branch capacity would obviously be better for me, but it would only be used every few years & would be left rusting mostly. This machine can't be faulted at all. It's one of my praised tools now.

I do not have anything to compare it too
I purchased this to tackle a variety of vegetation in an overgrown garden. The first use produced a fine enough mulch and I was fairly impressed. However, on the second use, it really struggled with thicker branches from various bushes. The wood is hard, and it creates a burning smell. I think it is the angle that the wood enters the blades that can be an issue. It tackled leaves and small branches well and only got blocked a few times. Removing the cover to clear blockages is straightforward, if a little time-consuming. Overall, it is a useful tool, but I think I will need new blades sooner than expected.

Great Product
This is the 3rd different brand of have purchased of the last 10 years. So far this is the best.TOP TIP THOUGH.ALL brands seem to jam up if you put in branches that still have lots of leaves on. The odd leaf is fine, but too many makes the chippings damp and they get stuck in the machine and cause a jam. I have been stripping the leaves on to the ground and then go over them with my hover mower. This cuts them up really well, and sucks them up, so they will compost much quicker. The chipper also makes very small chippings, which is great as they will also compost down quicker.ANOTHER TIP; This chipper comes with a bag to catch the chippings. Remember to keep an eye on the contents. They tend to build up at one end of the bag (the bit you can't see when you look down) and if you don't clear it before it reaches the bottom of the machine, the chippings can't get out and it causes a jam.The only minor downside is the wheels are too close together. This is not a problem whilst in use, but when you are trying to get it out or put it away and you are manoeuvring around things, it tends to fall over. All in all, it feels well made, works well and I am very happy with my purchase.

Does a great job.
It does a great job, makes quick work of branches upto 45mm. Very noisy though and it's best to wear ear defenders while using it, well worth putting up with the noise.
