Why I bought the meat chopper.
It is high quality and sturdy. It is far better than chopping with a spatula or separating with a fork. It is easier and faster. A good utensils addition to your kitchen. A good value for the money. easy to clean - just put in dishwasher.

Chops through meat easily without scratching your pan
This item is awesome! It’s just like the Pampered Chef Chop ‘N Mix kitchen tool, but cheaper! I’ve been buying this kitchen tool from Pampered Chef for the women in my family as well as for me. This one is for my son, who has moved out and has his own place now. He bought a wonky chopper that doesn’t really work well. I told him that I would buy him a better one and saw this one that looked exactly like the one that Pampered Chef sells for a lot more money. So, I bought this one and it works just like the Pampered Chef kitchen tool! Love it!

It does what it's supposed to do pretty well...
This review is kinda limited by my limited use of the item, so keep that in mind. I bought it for what I've used it for so far; breaking up hamburger in a frying pan. For that, it does a pretty good job. It seems the best way to break up burger meat for, say, tacos etc. is to start frying it kinda thick, turn it once so it solidifies somewhat but neither side is actually browning or has a crust yet: breaking up a seared/crusted surface is harder and less successful than breaking up burger that's just started cooking and holds together. Trying to break up raw burger just fills up the blades and makes a mess. My options for review here were "Easy to clean", "East to use" and "Value for money"; in that order I give it a 4 for cleaning (I use a dish brush with fairly long bristles that makes it pretty easy to clean), a 4 for use (it's not at all hard to use but it's not the miracle-worker it seems it may be by the description so not a 5, but a solid 4*) and a 3 for value (prices change all the time, so it's useless to put a value rating other than neutral). The other uses I can think of for this, which I haven't tried but think it would be good at, would be mashing avocados for guacamole and potatoes for mashed potatoes, but I have not tried either. If you make guacamole chunky, I'd recommend crushing the avocado separately and then adding your other ingredients and giving it all a light final mix with this to meld the ingredients. If you make it smooth, I'd think that adding all the ingredients to a deep bowl or container with a flat bottom and crushing them all together until smooth would be the best approach. Both of these methods are speculation, of course, but it seems it would be good for that.*The 4 for Easy to use comes with a caveat; in a frying pan, the fat from the meat is going to make a mess while using this - no more so than when using a spatula for the job! - so it's recommended to crush up your cooking burger meat in a dutch oven or deep frying pan to minimize the spatter on the stove and keep meat from popping out of the pan. Cast iron would be best, but the item is soft-ish plastic that won't harm the inner surface of a good enameled cast iron dutch oven. While it isn't very hard material, I wouldn't suggest using it on new non-stick pans just because their non-stick surfaces have limited lifespans anyway, and even the minor abrasions this tool will inflict will, in time, take a toll on those surfaces.Bottom line: I recommend it, used as described with common sense and care for your pans, with the right kind of brush for cleaning.

Good invention
Love my chopper! Works well for chopping up meats while cooking on the stove. The handle is long enough and the chopping part is large enough to chop a lot at once. It made out of strong durable plastic material. I’ve even used it to chop nuts and vegetable. Every cook should have one of these in their kitchen.
