Authentic South Indian Taste!
I've tried the Chettinad Chicken mix twice and the Biryani Mix once and I found them smackalicious!! This is not a fake, North-Indianised version that would sit lightly on your palate. It's hotness is sure to make you cry, but only in ecstasy. The chicken, made only with the masala, doesn't give you a thick gravy, so the second time I made it, I marinated it for 4 hours with curd and salt. I also soaked the powder for 10 minutes to moisten it up. Overall, I'm hugely satisfied to have enjoyed this signature dish of the South sitting right here in Kolkata.
