aFe Power59-06201 Magnum FORCE Cold Air Intake System Replacement Vent Tube Insert

I installed one of the K&N typhoon intakes on my 2020 F150 3.5 Ecoboost and got a CEL for crank case pressure ventilation. After reading into it, the CAI dropped the vacuum from the stock airbox just enough to throw off the readings of the PCV system. I dropped this into the intake pipe where the PCV hooke up to the turbo inlet, and my cel cleared it self in about 5 miles. That was 10k ago and it hasn’t come back. Install is super easy and straight forward. It let me keep the sweet sounds of the CAI instead of going back to the stock setup. The quality of the part is decent, but it is made of plastic. It is fairly thick walled, so I don’t see it being an issue any time soon. Definitely a great value for the money, and doesn’t require gluing in place like the K&N tube does.

The 1st gen 2.7’s require this in order to install an air intake system.

This part took care of the check engine light code.

Removed the check Engine Light from my F150 when I installed the CAI & graciously discarded the vent tube like a numbnut not reading the directions. Doesnt pay to be stupid, you actually pay more outta pocket

This worked perfectly I have not thrown a code since installing this, wish I had found this three years ago.

This plastic tube did not solve the cold air intake error code. I contacted kn who sent me a metal tube free of charge that did the trick.
