Water Pan Cover Compatible with Weber Smokey Mountain 18/18.5" Smoker

Its basically an overpriced deep pizza pan. If you are buying it to bake pizza save your money and go with something cheaper. But if you are planning to use this as a grease catcher and cover for your WSM water bowl it is perfect and worth its weight in gold. This pan fits the water bowl on my 18 1/2 WSM perfectly. It makes clean up a breeze when you foil this pan and sit it inside your water bowl. I have the older shallow water bowl and this cover though deep still allows me to use water, sand or lava rocks in my water bowl with this cover ontop. I have spent lots of money on accessories for my WSM in the past including 50 bucks for a hanging rack. So $30 for this cover is not really too crazy. And it does and excellent job at keeping grease tamed and not in the water bowl, preventing a watery grease mixed mess. So if you are on the fence. I say buy it. Yes, you could probably run around town looking for a pizza pan on your own that fits your WSM and save a couple of bucks. But this cover saves you that hassle and it's well made Aluminum. Plus if I ever decide to make Deep Dish Pizza in my WSM. Now I have a pan for it. No regrets.

This pan saves so much time cleaning up and allows using the water bowl in my 18” WSM Smoker. I lined it with foil and place over the water bowl. It catches all the drippings. Just wrap up the foil when done smoking and toss into the garbage. No need to foil line and clean the water bowl anymore.

I bought this pan for my 18" WSM, and it fits perfectly. I don't use water in the water pan, so don't need to concern myself with that. I used to foil my water pan in an attempt to catch drippings. However, even the large, heavy duty foil isn't big enough to cover the water pan completely. The foil does however do a fine job with this water pan cover.Cleaning this cover is much easier. If the foil doesn't catch every bit of grease, the water pan cover fits into our sink much better than the entire water pan that comes with the smoker. It's similar to washing off a pizza pan, quick and easy. Used it for the first time a couple days ago. Held up well, with no warping.Glad I made this purchase.

only a petty criticism. Has two stickers on the bottom of the water pan that do not come off easily, which is a minor issue. Decided not to bother pulling off the stickers. Will see what happens when I use my smoker next time...

This thing is awesome. Very simple and a little pricy but definitely worth it for the convenience. The water bowl was a huge pain to foil due to the shape of it or clean out if you didn’t foil, but this is perfect. It fits right on top of the water bowl and is very easy to foil for an easy clean up. You can still use water in the water bowl and also cook on the bottom rack with it too.

Fits perfectly over the water pan of my 18.5 WSM. I just wrap it in foil and virtually eliminate the mess of cleaning up. Overpriced for what it is but convenience always comes at a higher price.

This water pan cover for my WSM 18" smoker is an excellent addition to my setup. It fits perfectly over the water bowl, eliminating the need for messing around with foil or testing different pans during set-up. All in all, it’s a high-quality product that saves me time and effort cleaning up afterward. The only minor issue was the stickers on the bottom, which took a little extra effort to remove, but it wasn’t a big deal. I just heated up the pan a little, then used a razor scraper and they pulled right up with minimal trouble. While it might seem a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it for the convenience and durability. Highly recommended for anyone with a WSM smoker!

Love how this attached perfectly to my smoker! It was so much easier to discard the grease, especially since I lined the pan with tin foil. I highly recommend this pan!
