Q: I have white hair that is slowly getting a yellow tent. Will this remove the yellow?

Hi There, Our Purple conditioner enriched with purple pigments will instantly neutralize brassy yellow and orange tones and nourish hair in 1 Use. We thank you for your interest in L'Oreal!

Q: Is this product tested on animals?

It is a complicated answer. This is what I found: In 1989, L’Oréal completely ceased testing its products on animals, 14 years before it was required by regulation. Today, L'Oréal no longer tests its ingredients on animals. L'Oréal no longer tolerates any exception to this rule. Certain health authorities may nevertheless decide to conduct animal tests themselves for certain cosmetic products, as it is still the case in China. L’Oréal is one of the most active companies working alongside the Chinese authorities and scientists for over 10 years to have alternative testing methods recognized, and permit the cosmetic regulation to evolve towards a total and definite elimination of animal testing. Thanks to this, since 2014, certain products manufactured and sold in China like shampoo, body wash or certain make-up products are no longer tested on animals.

Q: Why has this suddenly gone from $5 to $13?? The other Elvive products have not.

I think it is being discontinued. Loreal has done that with every product I like. They also reformulated a bunch of their shampoos and conditioners a couple years ago ebut years ago adding oils to them. I had to stop using them all because they made my hair so greasy. I really hope they don't change this product. It's the only conditioner that I really like.
