We bought a new thermometer cause I was old and wasn’t working anymore. The numbers are big enough to see from a glance. It tells the correct temperature inside and out, and it was very easy to put together and it worked instantly.

I had a complex location & probe run, but that was not caused by the product. Quite the opposite - the large readout and long thermopile lead made my install possible. Highly accurate too - checked with a scientific thermometer. Thanks for the great product.

The Taylor Digital Thermometer that I purchased is surprisingly accurate and easy to read. The outside temperature measurement error is less than one degree low when compared to my precision reference thermometer. This is very good performance for this type of device. An easy to change common lithium button battery powers the unit.A button on the back allows the large digits to reflect either the indoor or the outdoor (cable mounted probe) temperature (a smaller set of digits in the lower left hand corner of the display reflects the other measurement). A second rear button allows selection of Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature display.Maximum and minimum measured temperatures for the last 24 hours relative to the setting of the large digits display are also shown. There is no backlight.Recommended.

Does what it is supposed to but- 1) battery holder is screw in, not pull out making a simple battery change harder than it shold be 2) sitting on my desk with the outdoor probe by the unit..two different temps, the out reads lower by a degree-in unit reads higher than existing units on the desk by almost 3 degrees, meaning both are high. NOTE: Since I posted this, the two seem to stabilize and both read the SAME!! 4) no button to "reset" the high/low readings to new Suggestion is to "pull the battery" See number 1, a screwdriver is needed!! Finally 5) unit is large, BUT the display is not. There is a black border that is 1/2" wide around display, meaning there is less than 3" to show the temps, while the unit is 4" wide. A waste of space. The unit is a $10 unit..GOOD for what one pays for! New, so can't comment on battery life. I will buy a different model/company with a front button to "clear" old min/max easily. Other than these couple of things, decent for the money. (I buy a unit with the wired probe, so I can put it in the AC/Heat output grill, and see the min max temp that has been output into the room.)

My husband loves his thermometer; it sits in the window and the sensor is outside off the porch. He doesn't even have to get out of his chair! It tells the current temperature and seems accurate; it also tells inside temperature and lowest temperature for that day.Size is perfect and it's easily readible.

Working great

This item is perfect for my use. I have it in an upstairs window where I can see the temperature every morning when I am getting dressed. It is easy to read and lets me know how to dress for my morning walk.

Outstanding outdoor indoor digital thermometer. Has a wired probe you can hang outside a closed window. Easy to read large digits/numbers. I have 2, 1 downstairs, 1 upstairs in bed room. Love em.
