Beautiful color
Your hair has to be bleached very light for this product to stick. It only really stuck to the super white parts at the ends of my hair and the darker blonde shades didn’t take the dye too well. Overall very pretty shade, just make sure your hair is light enough.

Maybe it works but not for me...
Maybe I didn't leave it on for long enough, but it didn't work for me. Will try again.

Nice
I liked the colour although is it much more red than the photo. It covered all my blond highlights but none of the grey hair in my roots.

Vivid colours
I use this colour to brighten my hair! Love the reddish orange it gives! Definitely brings life to my hair. Highly recommend, I use it once a month for a refresh depending how often I wash my hair. As it starts to fade after the second wash for me. Please note I normally wash my hair after 5-6 days.

I freaking love this stuff
I am of a “certain age” where my roots have become highly noticeable after 3 weeks. Despite my sense of vanity, I refuse to spend the time and, more importantly, the money to go to a salon every 3 weeks to get root touch-ups done. It was costing me over $125 per visit when I finally called it quits. That’s $2250 per year!I tried box dyes and what a disaster that was. I used the highest rated ones costing $15+, and the last one I used came out patchy, and faded to a matte, lifeless near-black, instead of brown. Even worse, it absolutely fried my once soft hair. That’s when I swore off box dyes.Despite the mixed reviews about grey coverage, I tried this Adore semi-permanent dye and was shocked at everything I loved about it:-No mixing, just pour straight out of the bottle into your dish and apply with a hair colouring brush-Smells great, but not at all overpowering, and definitely no harsh chemical odours like box dyes-No drip, perfectly thick formula that’s easy to apply and doesn’t run down my face like box dyes-You can get it on your skin (including all over your face along your hairline) and it washes off easily with shampoo when you rinse it off-If you drip on the floor, sink, or wall, it wipes away easily with a wet cloth if fresh, or with a bit of regular dish soap if dryAll these factors completely take the stress out of application for me. I can do touch-ups any night of the week and not need to worry about stains along my hairline or on my ears the next day when I go to work. They all wash away with the first shampoo and conditioning.Does it cover greys as thoroughly as a box dye does? No, definitely not. It tints them a lighter brown, making them look almost like highlights. I actually like that!Does it last as long as a box dye? No. But since the application is so uncomplicated, I just do quick “spot applications” whenever I see a particularly obnoxious patch of greys, and then do fuller touch-ups on the weekends when I have an hour to spare to really let it sit and saturate. It’s so easy to just pour out a small amount of the ready-made product that I don’t hesitate to do touch-ups whenever I feel like it. With box dyes it felt like such an ordeal because of the prep, the stench of the product, the stress of avoiding skin contact, and the annoyance of cleaning up accidental drips on me or the floor/cabinets/walls, etc.Plus with Adore, you only use as much as you need. You’re not committed to using the entire bottle, unlike a box dye. One bottle has lasted me 3 applications so far and I expect to get 2 more out of it.I also like that I can mix colours effortlessly. I add a bit of the Jet Black Adore to this shade of brown to darken it, and it looks great. Finally, one huge improvement over other semi-permanent dyes is that after the first 2 shampoos, the colour barely bleeds out anymore. With other ones I tried, my hands and tub were getting stained every day for the first 5-10 shampoos (looking at you, Arctic Fox). Adore barely stains, even the first time. It also doesn’t stain my cloth shower curtain, nor my greyish towels. (Not sure if it would stain white, though, so proceed with caution.)Bottom line, if you’re budget conscious but can’t stand the stress, mess, and harshness of box dyes, definitely give Adore a try.
