Great Slow Cooker
I wanted to change up my cooking routine and purchased this dual crock cooker. The crocks are substantial in weight. I also bought a couple of recipe books to help with providing inspiration in the meal selection and preparation. I made a stew for the first time and used the full 6 quart crock. I cooked it on the high setting. The heating unit did its job really well and I cut the cooking time short because things got finished sooner than anticipated. There was a wonderful cooking smell that went all through the house and I look forward to more of this as the weather turns to fall and winter. The ability to switch the cooking time or switch from high to low on the control panel was quite easy. I look forward to using the split crock to prepare a smaller meal as I get use to this additional feature and element. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great quality and easy to use
This is a great slow cooker. It's easy to use, but has more than just basic functions. It's easy to clean (dishwasher safe!) and cooks thoroughly. The two-section pot is useful for keeping food separate.

Literally use this everyday
Crock pots are lifesavers for those who are disabled! I love how easy it is to make all sorts of meals in this thing. And it's easy to clean! Slightly heavy so if you are disabled please use caution when lifting the inside out. Maybe ask a friend to help with that part.

Very heavy. Be careful.
This was a Christmas gift and it was a good choice. My brother loves it.

Inconsistent cooking temp - Huge, lid doesn’t fit well. Too heavy.
I don’t get this thing. It’s inconsistent. Too hot or too cold. My old crockpot that I had for 25+ years was better but it had developed a hot spot and Dutch oven was a bit too small. This is too big and there isn’t anyway to get it to start on high for hour, hour and half, then cycle to low and then to warm. I thought this was suppose to be able to be programmed. The old HIGH or WARM was as good as this and didn’t have to spend $70+.Sometimes it’s low is almost plenty depending on what you are cooking and just cook longer rather than burn it up. Or other times it doesn’t come up to temp. but that’s no good for me with like a chicken.Might as well go back to cooking it, getting it part done and then put in old crock on low to finish. I thought this would allow me to not have to worry and could go out to run errands. Can’t trust this thing. Food too expensive to burn up or having it sit all day and find it not done, barely warm or no moisture and smells burned when you come in.I have a 5.5 Dutch oven that’s a tiny bit too small for like a bigger piece of meat but this oval 6 quart is huge. Didn’t want to have to cut up bone in pieces to cook. But this is terrible crock pot. There has to be something better. I was so glad to get this prior but it’s not suitable, nor safe, not as good as old crock. Can’t really program.Lid doesn’t fit right, too small, would fall in if not careful. I think the issue is it’s too small for this pot and lets the moisture out. They need to get this lid properly made so the moisture or steam drips back down in the pot. I would be afraid to let this thing start in morning and go away for day — might burn house down or waste food all burned up.Started several things, ended up putting in other pot to finish. Don’t trust it.Had to give 3 stars if you answer the questions because it was easy to clean, it was versatile with two crocks, and couldn’t get any easier to use. But they don’t have the right questions. What good are those things if it doesn’t cook right. So gave it a 1 overall, and 3 on those things.Course now can’t get back to get another one — not this brand.

Cooking
Liked this appliance however, One thing was not as it should be- the 2nd insert that has two dividers does NOT fit flush with the appliance that it is supposed to fit in. The big one fits perfect, 2nd one slides around which I definitely did not like. Ease of use is great ease to clean is fine but It really does need to fit correctly. Had I known I would not have purchased…..

LOVE
this is a staple in any busy household. our previous crock cracked after about 10 years of use. This one is a great replacement. i really like the display on the front and the dual insert is really cool too. I did notice a plastic like burning smell on first use but have not smelled that since.
