Great so far!
So far all is well. I do have 3 small complaints, but nothing that would cause me to pick a different device. 1. Cannot delete all/specific videos from WiFi controls, can only do this by reformatting. 2. Cannot change the auto-loop time from 1minute intervals, so all videos are only 1 minute long. 3. Swap the double sided tape for better 3m stuff for warm/hot climates. Slight inconveniences at most. Just be nice to have 3-5 minute options and to be able to delete videos instead of reformatting.Otherwise all works perfectly. Buy some fuse taps and the hardwire kit to make it super easy and hide all the wires.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do
This camera worked well for several years. It recently died and I replaced it with the same brand. This model was discontinued.Once it was installed I never really thought about it again.Pairing with the app was pretty easy. The only real complaint I have is downloading video clips takes a while. I found it easier to take the card out and use a card reader to transfer files.

Glitchy app and connection.
I was looking for a small, sleek design that would be unobtrusive in my car. I read the positive reviews reviews and decided to order. I had the unit professionally installed at Best Buy. Setting up the connection was fairly straightforward but I noticed the connection was spotty. It would disconnect randomly when trying to view or download video. About 3 weeks in, the front camera stopped working. I returned and reordered another set, had them them installed again by Best Buy and they seemed to work. Then the rear camera stopped connecting. I took it back to Beat Buy to check the connection and they found the hardware in working order. After talking to the manufacturer with no solution, I once again took it to Beat Buy to uninstall and return. So to recap, I ordered two different units that both failed. The factory support was lacking and they pointed me back to Amazon or the seller for resolution. I would not recommend this product.

Seems to be a good dashcam
It's only been installed about a week, but so far it seems to be OK. Takes 10-15 seconds to power up and start recording, and when the weather warms up I'll be installing the 'hardwiring' power cable to see if that improves this issue. I've also noticed that the GPS module (which I purchased at the same time) sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to activate, so there aren't any speeds / GPS coordinates at the start of recording. Took one star off because the LEDS are super bright, and there is no way to turn off the GPS LED. As a result, I have to lower my sun visor to block it at night.I'm not taking stars off for this, but I do miss having a screen built in (like my previous camera). Also, don't bother buying the versions of this kit with the larger SD cards -- it was far cheaper to purchase a class 10 / UHS1 (Like the Samsung Pro Endurance 128gb SDXC card I purchased). I did have to download / install the BlackVue desktop app in order to format it 'properly' for the camera (otherwise the camera went into a bootloop complaining about the card, giving no option to format it while in the device), but it's otherwise working perfectly, recording both cameras without issue.

Works very well
I now have 4 of these installed in my vehicles, they all work well and without any issues. I will buy these cameras again.

Great video but poor usability
Put simply, the video quality in both the front and rear cameras is superb and the unit is relatively easy to install.Unfortunately the BlackVue mobile app is slow and clunky, and the connectivity to the camera is a constant lottery. I can get my phone to successfully connect to the camera to extract video files, on average, 20% of the time.Obviously I've tried all the advice online, restarting the phone, turning Wi-Fi on and off, resetting the camera, restarting the camera, waiting 30 seconds, praying, you name it. But it's ultimately just buggy, low quality software and hardware. A little surprising, considering the high cost of the device.I wouldn't buy the same brand again, but if you don't mind a little frustration occasionally, the video quality might be worth the hassle.

hear me out
so the camera functions and functions well, the thing i have a problem with and it's with both of my black vues 590X is the rear camera won't stay stuck. the front is strong and hasn't moved but the rear i have tried stronger double stick tape, velcro and i now have to use hot glue which even that failed today. the camear mounting area seems to be too smooth and nothing wants to grip to it. i hot glued it again and it seems to last the longest 3 weeks or so. but i need to find a way to scuff up the camera mounting area so the glue has something to hold on to. i mean what good is an insurance camera if it is hanging from the headliner dangling. it's not. so unless Black vue will offer me a solution it will stay at 2 stars. it may seem like a small deal but it's a huge deal for me. the camera is no good to me when it's just hanging recording my back seat.edit, well the hot glue didn't work so i went and bought some gorilla glue, drilled 4 holes in the mounting bracket. put the glue on and it worked. it's not perfect but the 2 stars make me feel better about it. i think it should stick on pretty good now.
