The bidding is good, the cover is beautiful, and the pages are thick and of good quality with a vintage feel to them. My only issue was it came with a small tear near its spine.

I have bought several books and this one is just the king of all......The cover has golden designs which is just mind blowing and book is not damaged in anyway...I'll give it as a gift and the pages quality is excellent. All stories by Grimm brothers in one book! Just amazing

If you're sending a hardbound copy, at least make sure the quality is good? The paper used is annoying. It's thin and you can see the text on the other side in every single flip. Never compromise on hardbound books. The stories of course are good, the rating is only for the dark fairytales in the pages. The price mentioned is for the cheap quality of the book pages. Rather go to genuine book dealers offline and get this book instead.

Few things about the book1. Packaging was fine, the quality of the book itself is satisfactory.2. Binding is not the greatest, but can be dealt with. Do not hand this book to young children as the book needs to be handled with care.3. Paper quality is also okayish, not the best but definitely does not take away the joy of reading.4. The golden coating on the side of the pages sometimes ends up sticking two pages together, and they need to be separated with utmost care.5. Beautiful, beautiful illustrations. Feels like a dream having this book in your hand.My overall look on the book is that it needs to be handled with a lot of care. Probably wouldn't recommend gifting this to someone who does not know how to take care of books. Otherwise, a magical series of fairytale collection nonetheless, and I am very happy with this.
