It's a nice selection of hard candies. The variety was very welcome.

I purchased these to use in making a super fancy, authentic gingerbread house for the Holidays. I was looking for that old world feel, so aesthetically pleasing was even more important than flavor. I wanted the candy to glimmer like little jewels and show off the intricacy of their making.The stripped ribbon and image canes (little flower in the center) were the most important to this effect.The candy arrived fairly intact with an acceptable level of minor breakage, though lacking both the ribbon version and the little picture cane types but for one of each, and the ribbon unpatterned orange and was broken. Utterly disappointing. The rest were perfectly acceptable stripped puff pillow types, but definitely not worth the extra cost. Right now I’m considering if it’s worth my energy to return them, and I’m so aggravated that I think so. $12.95 is a lot of money to pay for something that isn’t really as described.Also, a heads up: the three favors are true to old fashioned candy flavorings and are peppermint, spearmint and anis. Anise has a very distinct licorice flavor, so these do taste like minty licorice, which is kinda weird in the contemporary tongue. Little kids will not like them.Overall a washout and a waste of money.

I saw the ad for this candy and it brought me back to my childhood have them. My grandparents always had a bowl of the old-fashioned hard candy in it and the picture showed what I remember, but what came was not so good taste pretty candy but not what I was looking for

This candy tastes great and reminded me of the candy we gas at Christmas when I was a child. The only thing I didn't like was there was NO ribbon candy included although it was clearly shown on the packaging.

I love that it takes me back to my childhood, and mom and dad at Christmas time with these wonderful candles.
