BEST FLEA REPELLENT EVER!!! For 6 Summers this stuff has worked for our Cats!!!
Make no mistake this product is not a flea KILLER! It is a FLEA,TICK,& MOSQUITO REPELLENT! So if your cat already has a flea problem, it will not KILL them. That is why I think it sometimes gets negative reviews. It takes at least a month to build up in their system. If you have flea eggs on your cat or adult fleas they will go through their life cycle, and you will need to give them a flea treatment to kill the fleas. When we first started this product I had to give my cats a flea bath to get rid of the adult fleas, and treat the living area with Diatomaceous Earth. And vacuum, vacuum,VACUUM!(Make sure to throw away the vacuum bag) If they are in your environment, they will hop right back on your animal, for a blood meal. (This can cause anemia, which is why I am recommending it especially if you take care of ferals in your neighborhood.) Easy to put in food,,and no risk of overdose. It will just make them very thirsty. So they will need plenty of clean, fresh, water.I believe that most of the "prescribed" flea medications are harmful to your cat or dog, and some of them have been removed from the market for adverse effects on your animals. If you have a total house cat, one that never goes outside you probably don't need flea treatment, but if any of your animals step outside-- (mine like their AM hour in our "woodsy" backyard) they will need some form of pest protection. We have been using this for 6 years now, but because it is essentially a vitamin we give it to our two cats all year long. I had been searching for alternative flea treatment ,because the Cat flea products laden with chemicals just made us uneasy. Before I found Flea Away, I had a few cats die from Cancer and can't help wondering if all those "medicines" were responsible.I had tried a "spot on" oily concoction, and when that didn't help switched to a flea collar on my cat's neck area and he ended up with lesions. Than I saw this and figured, "why not"? It worked!! We have not had ONE flea since starting this program. However you do have to keep the level up in the animals' system. So it's important to give it to them daily. We use a pill crusher, and literally pulverize the capsule in it after breaking it in half. We give each of our two cats a whole capsule every morning mixed into each dish of their soft cat food. Than they get hard crunchy cat food in an automatic feeder with PLENTY of water to eat until the next morning, to keep their teeth clean. I only mix as much wet food as they will eat in one sitting (Usually no more than two tablespoons to ensure they will eat all of the capsule. They will not eat the capsules without mixing them. I wish they would make this formula in "cat treats' maybe than they would eat them. It is important to give it daily although if you happen to forget one day it will not affect anything. It takes about a month for the formula to be extruded through the cats skin pores, and this is what keeps the fleas away. So when you begin this treatment it is important to keep your regular flea treatment going until you are SURE it has been a month. If you already have a flea problem you will have to get that under controlIf you have an "EXISTING" flea problem you will have to treat your cat or dog and your living quarters as there are probably flea eggs that will hatch, and jump back on your animal to start the flea cycle all over again. There is an 800 number on the bottle if you have any questions. I was so happy to get rid of the "flea medications" yes, they do the job, but are also "poisoning" your beloved pet. I once watched a mosquito hover around my sleeping kitty, when he was sleeping outside, but the bugger never went in for a meal, actually repelled and flew to me...so I wish they could make this for humans as I am a "mosquito magnet" (They like my Co2, what can I say?)LOL.Don't expect your Vet to be in favor of this treatment.Like Human Drs. and Big Pharma their greedy partnership prevents them from recommending anything "natural" that doesn't bring in the "Big Bucks" for the pharmaceutical machine, so they will tell you it won't work and suggest one of the name brand flea treatments which in the long haul will do your "fur baby" more harm than good with accumulated poisons in their system. Also some people do not understand the difference between a flea repellent and a flea killer, and Vets probably don't want to stake their reputation on something that can fail because of human error. The poisons are easier to administer, and don't take as much effort and many people want ease and quick results. This is an All Natural formula. As I have said, my cats have all been on it.6 years and no bad effects. AND ABSOLUTELY NO FLEAS!!! TICKS, or MOSQUITOES!!! I once gave it to a feral in his food when he showed up at my door, and it worked for him as well. (We ended up adopting him) It's safer, less expensive and easy to administer...okayed by the FDA, and made in USA. So why wouldn't you use it in place of a toxic pesticide, which can make your pet sick and costs $$$ more? I can't say enough about this wonderful formula, as I said, I wish they made it for humans. Very Thankful we happened upon this wonderful PREVENTATIVE.

Natural Flea and Tick Prevention I Trust!
I used to give my dogs the oral flea products from the veterinary office but I wondered, how can an oral flea and tick treatment kill the fleas and ticks but not harm the dog? It didn’t make sense to me so I researched further. I discovered the harmful effects these oral medications have caused to many dogs. Everything from gastrointestinal issues to seizures, even death and in surprising numbers. I also considered the possible long term effects even if no harmful effects were immediately observed. While the oral preventative I was previously giving my dogs was generally considered safe with possible side effects, it was not a risk I was willing to take with my dogs. I love my dogs too much to give them something that can potentially be harmful or deadly when there’s other effective options available so I immediately switched to natural flea and tick treatments. I was skeptical that a natural treatment would be effective but after using natural topical sprays combined with this natural oral flea and tick prevention, I am happy I made the switch. I feel much better knowing I am doing what I believe to be the best for the health of my dogs. According to my personal observations, these do take about a month to become effective. With continuous use, fleas and ticks are of no bother to my dogs even during outdoor hikes in wooded areas during the spring, summer, and fall. Since I made the switch to “Flea Away” the fleas and ticks now don’t have to bite the dogs in order for the treatment to be effective, they avoid the dogs! I certainly like that my dogs aren’t getting bit by the fleas and ticks in the first place therefore preventing the possibility flea of tick borne illnesses. Did you know that fleas can carry diseases that even include the bubonic plague? What I was previously giving my dogs worked by killing the fleas or ticks AFTER it had bitten the dog which still put the dogs at risk for illnesses carried by the parasites. I’d much rather avoid that risk as well. My large dogs get two chewable “Flea Away” tablets a day and is viewed by the dogs as just another daily “treat”. I’m pleased that I made an informed decision to switch to “Flea Away”.

My fur baby thinks she is getting a treat and Flea Away has great customer service!
Update 2/4/24 I was giving Maisie 2 pills and after a month she refused any so we forced them on her. I have been giving her 1 1/2 pills for a couple of weeks and she enjoys them again. Unfortunately, I found a little tick on her head at the base of her ear today. I’m going to try something else.I started our fur baby (45 lb cur/hound dog) on Flea Away in April of 2023. We have never had a flea problem. I see mosquitoes flying around her but no resulting bite marks and we live on 25 acres near a swamp. Lately we have been finding ticks on her. Some surface others biting her. I decided to contact the company on Friday 12/15/23 and had a response the afternoon of Monday 12/18/23. They suggested that since Maisie is so close to 50lbs we give her 2 pills daily. I wrote back on 12/19 stating I had been concerned about her ODing so didn't want to do that with out advice. On 12/19 their response was:"Good morning Barbara! The Flea Away Tablets are vitamin based tablets. They would not OD on two tablets. We have had clients write in stating that their dog ate the whole bottle. It would not harm the dog. They would just need normal access to water to help flush it out. Ticks may crawl onto your dog but they would not smell the CO2 odor that your dog would release to bite your dog.Amber"So Miss Maisie got 2 pills yesterday and today, and she thought she was special! LOL! I'll let y'all know if this doesn't work.
