Complex Build, but Great!
The media could not be loaded. I saw the video the one woman posted of the Burj falling apart and was nervous before I purchased. If it assembled correctly, this thing is definitely sturdy. My 6 year old loves the Burj Khalifa. We got him this and quickly discovered it was far too complex for him to assemble (or even help that much). The build took a couple nights to finish since I can’t just sit around and work on this. Once it was done though, it looked awesome and is definitely a great project for the price.

Great quality, very cool
Great quality, simple but not to easy to assemble. Secure but could start to come apart of you're trying to move it around from place to place. LED lighting is very cool, fades between different colors. Professional packaging and instructions. A cool build to display.... A one time build, requires 2 AA batteries.

Beautiful but difficult
Overall, I am happy with the way the Louvre I purchased turned out but there were some imperfections in the instructions, design, and pieces of the model. Concerning the instructions the diagram provided explaining where scotch tape needed to be added for the LED lights did not seem workable to me. Ultimately, I was able to find a way to use the tape in such a way to enable me to put the LED lights in the right position, or very close to the right position, but it was not based on the instructions in the diagram. Perhaps, my biggest concern is that the Louvre's pyramid, which is the final piece to put in, was very difficult to insert properly and to best effect. The inserts for the pyramid are much smaller than those for the regular pieces and I needed to use scotch tape to make everything stay. If you use the scotch tape on the interior of the pyramid you can do it so that it won't show from the outside.Otherwise, this set is different from the other cubicfun sets in that a great deal of taping was required using the double sided adhesive tape provided. The good news about the adhesive tape is that there is far more than enough of it to complete the work so if you make a mistake and have to discard some don't worry about it. The tricky thing about the tape is that after you apply it to the piece you have to pull the white part of the tape, on the opposite side of the sticky end, off to create the double sided tape effect. Pulling off the white part is a bit tricky as you sometimes don't pull off enough of the white to get to the sticky part on the first go but with patience I was able to get it done and none of the applicable pieces suffered from inability to stick property. Finally, when I put the three big sections of the Louvre together some of the pieces in the interior of the building, facing the pyramid, came undone. It took about 5 hours to complete.Despite, the issues noted above, the end product looks great.

Great quality and effort required. Finished product is worth it.
I discovered this brand and type of puzzle when trying to occupy my mind during a terrible time in my life. I was trying to handle my Mother and Uncle in the hospital at the same time and driving many hours 4 times weekly. When I was not driving, I was working on these to take my mind off them.I appreciated the instructions, effort required, patience, and overall quality of the product which I have on display in my home in various locations. I would recommend this as a personal project or a family effort. Even though not many pieces, it is time-consuming and worth it in the end. I will continue to recommend this brand as well as look forward to the next puzzles they provide. I have redone a couple twice as I needed something to occupy me, and these were the perfect item.

Not your typical 3-D puzzle
My 10 year old is crazy for puzzles, and even 3D ones are easy for her. This one was a challenge. She needed a bit of help since tabs had to be inserted perfectly, and even my husband agreed this was very difficult. However, it still got done, went together perfectly, and lights up and looks amazing! It was a great family project over a weekend. Challenging but fun, and amazing end product to display.

There is a difference between "CHALLENGING" and "FRUSTRATING"
Unfortunately, this 3D Puzzle leans towards the Latter. The Good: My daughter was able to complete the assembly mostly on her own. She has put many puzzles of this type together before, so she had some previous experience and seemed to enjoy the process which took about 6 hours over 3 days. Fully assembled it does look impressive and the lights add to the realism BUT they also create most of the assembly problems. The Bad: As mentioned, the majority of the assembly issues involved the led lighting. The instruction diagrams are inaccurate for almost all of the wiring layouts including routing and where to secure the excess slack. There are very little written instructions throughout the manual which is both a blessing and a curse. The light harnesses I received are clearly longer than shown by a couple to several inches depending on the location, there are four separate light sets. On a model this size it makes a huge difference where you route the wires so as not to interfere with the many cutouts and the extra length compounded the problem. I had to step in after my daughter made several failed attempts to properly secure the wiring which would interfere with the next step requiring us to disassemble and repeat. It's as if the lights were an afterthought. Also, there were a few small issues with the cutouts not properly aligning but they were minor compared to the lights. Lastly, even though the instructions claim "no tools required" the reality is tape, glue, and a razor knife are necessary at certain steps to stabilize a section before moving on to the next. The Eiffel Tower was meant to be a test for this brand before moving onto the more complicated (and expensive) Notre Dame de Paris. But now I'm not sure if it's worth the cost or time.

Gorgeous 3D Puzzle, Lighting Amazing!
The media could not be loaded. What’s not to like? It Absolutely Stunning! The one change would be to have the lights on a timer, like most of the mini lights are made now! It’s prefect, a great gift for our Granddaughter with a Paris Deco room.
