Great snippers! I had to significantly cut back a fairly established tree as it was infested with shield bugs with no hope of being able to treat it. These cut through branches with ease.

Well impressed by these. Used first to take a metre off a Beech hedge. Easy to hold at full stretch in the intertwined branches - never dropped them once!- Easy to take up to 20mm branches with one hand thanks to the ratchet action. In comparrison, I had brand new, more expensive branded secateurs from Screwfix for the same job. They struggled - In the first 15 minutes, the spring fell out and got lost and the lock broke!Next used to trim an apple tree... effortless up to 15-20mm. Largest cut about 25mm.... a bit of a struggle but it managed.I definately recommend these - geat value, well made, great to use.

Easy to use. Very sharp. I’ve used Davaon gardening products before and highly rate them. Simple ratchet mechanism that takes out all the hard work without having to use brute strength. Comfortable to hold and prunes quickly through quite thick branches.So good i bought a pair for my mum, who has small hands and she doesn’t have a problem using these.

They are a good bit of kit, I'll need them for apple tree pruning season in a few months and they will go through a lot of thick tough stuff, but by hell are they hard to get the ratchet system working. These were to replace my spear and Jackson's and they will do the job, but I dare say I'll get annoyed when I'm 20ft up a tree trying repeatedly to get these to re-engage. Shame as they are tough and sharp.
