I'm tearing down a septic tank aerator motor. I had a shaft collar and two bearings that were on TIGHT after twenty years of service. Somehow I've gotten away without this tool for many years, but often damaged things in the process. When I saw this on sale, I nabbed it for $20. I received it a couple days later, and it took off the collar and bearings quickly and without issue. Well worth the cost even if you use it only a handful of times in your life. When you need a tool, you need it.

Work great not complaining about it!!

tool seems ok tho I've only used it once so far - I had trouble getting and keeping it lined up to pull straight - it was a hard pull on a tight bearing but did the job. The center bearing point on the tool seems a bit soft and showed wear from one pull. The tool box it comes in is nice BUT the latches fall off !!! - super annoying when I went to stow the tool and had to look all over to find the latches !!! [update 8-10-23 : I have used this tool a couple more times and it is working well and I'm glad I have it. I have upgraded to 4 stars as its been effective. I hold back 1 star as I can't speak to durability. ]
