Hunter 3/4" PGV-ASV Anti-Siphon Valve

one of my valves was leaking...worked out very well.

Got this to disassemble and use the parts. Cheaper than buying the parts individually.

I needed three of these valves, due to one or more going out in my yard. The controls are easy to use and seem durable. I went for Hunter brand on the recommendation of a friend with more experience. Once installed and wired, all three worked just fine in my sprinkler array.

I've changed a dozen pis orbit valves. This one is a quality unit.

I must say that I purchased these back in December, but only recently got around to installing, and much to my chagrin, one of the solenoids is defective. No matter what I try, it still "clicks" instead of engaging properly, so not I'm outside of the return window, it's fully installed AND it's not working properly. SO was am I supposed to do .... find a replacement solenoid???? I genuinely do NOT think it's too much to ask for to be given a product that works AND a time-frame for contacting the supplier for a replacement part that's more than 30 DAYS!

Far superior than rainbird and orbit. You get what you pay for.

Easy to install, functions as advertised, no-frills, and gets the job done

Leaks from the anti-siphon section badly when on. It’s only been installed a short time, but past the return window. Have to replace it. These feel really cheap, so I’ll get a better one.
