Thin and light. Good for everyday use.I bought it in 2020 and the band has just broken. Considering the low price still value for money. Just remember to be gentle when putting on and off the watch.

I grew up with mostly digital watches made by Casio. My tastes gravitated more towards mechanical and solar watches, but they tended to be a lot larger and "chunkier" than was comfortable on my wrist when I got back into doing a lot of cycling, (especially bouncy MTB riding...), and it has been perfect for it's intended purpose for me so far.The Good:Decent quality look at nearly disposable priceReliable time keeperGood water resistance (so far)Very lightweight (almost forget it's even there sometimes when wearing it.)Comfortable (no hair pulling, pinching, and a decent number of clasp holes in the band)Good featuresBack-light is adequateThe Bad:Back-light is not true "Illuminator" typeWatch face/Crystal is acrylic, and fairly soft acrylic at that and scratches relatively easyThe Neutral:Band is non-standard (ie: not easily interchangeable with other bands as there are no spring pins to hold the band in place. see addl comments in my review below on this issue)"The Band Issue" mentioned by so many reviewers, to me is really not an issue.This watch is not an all day/all night regular wear watch for me, as I am apparently incapable of existing in "one watch Nirvana".I got this watch specifically for it's inexpensive price, lightweight design and comfortable feel, and use it as intended for cycling, gardening and other activities that would be hard enough on more expensive watches that I prefer not to wear them then.The integrated style of band IS a real part of why this band is so comfortable to wear. It's integrated band attaches seamlessly to the body of the watch with small screws rather than the traditional spring pin method.I have yet to wear a digital watch with it's OEM traditional spring pin type band that does not grab some hair or pinch occasionally, or possibly more often than that. (This does not include velcro wrap type straps which don't pinch, but for me always end up smelling like I am wearing eau de-jungle rot on my wrist after a few months of dirt, sweat and general grunge, no matter if I wash them)While this watch has many of the features of some G-Shock watches at less than half the price of the very bottom of the G-Shock line, (I have owned several.) It seems to weigh only a fraction of what they weigh, yet retains sufficient water resistance for my use in wet and muddy situations.I have owned the watch for less than 6 months now, so if my view of the band or the durability changes after longer use I will update this review to reflect accordingly, but for now this simple, inexpensive, decent looking digital watch with a good set of functions and water resistance rating gets 5 stars for being great at what it was built to do.After just a few months of use this watch has clearly proven that I, as the late Douglas Adams stated: "... still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea." when they are done right and kept simple.

They really need to do better with the band. It wears out and breaks within a year to 18 months and replacement bands cost almost as much as the watch.

I bought this watch for my teenage son, he loves it! It’s easy to set the time, date and use of the other features. The wristband is comfortable for him and the face of the watch is not too big or bulky looking on his wrist. I highly recommend this watch for someone looking for a digital watch with basic functionality.

This watched was purchased back in August of 2018. I hadn't intended to write a review about it, until just a few moments ago when I quite coincidentally happened to set the watch down beside a home weather station with a clock that synchronizes with the national radio time signal. I noticed that the time on the Casio was just a single second off from the weather station's clock.Then it occurred to me: I had set the time on the watch right after receiving it from Amazon back in August of 2018, and subsequent adjustments for DST only involved changing the hour (leaving the minutes and seconds untouched). The implication is that this inexpensive little Casio watch has kept time to an accuracy of within a single second over a period of a little more than three years. That is truly mind-boggling. All other quartz timepieces in my possession would usually need resynchronization after a few weeks or months; I also have another Casio timepiece (A DBC-150 calculator watch that I've had for over two decades) and the time on it needs to be resynchronized every two months or so.It's phenomenal accuracy aside, this W-96H has been comfortable to wear. The digits are large and easy to read--a definite plus for those with failing eyesight (like me!).

This watch has the perfect set of functions for me. Nothing I don't need. Great back light, lightweight, easy to read. I own a couple of other Casios but just keep coming back to this one.
