Ringside Muay Tai bag
Was delivered before expected. Box is in good condition. I asked the Amazon guy if he would set it in the garage, since it weighed 100lbs. He did, and was very nice about it.

This Heavy Bag Rules, But You Might Want To Keep Some Things In Mind.....
This is my first heavy bag, and I'm still pretty new to Muay Thai, so despite my experience in tkd and shotokan karate I hadn't really done a ton of bag workouts when I ordered this, and all the bags I had used before either had thick foam lining or were soft filled. The reason I chose this bag was because of its size for Muay Thai, reviews, and price, the latter being particularly appealing considering that not only was it relatively cheap, but it was also a prime item (saving me atleast $50 in shipping costs for something this heavy). The last word I would use to describe this bag is "soft," which my roommate learned very quickly when he decided to punch it full force with an unwrapped and ungloved hand when I wasn't home lol. My first few workouts were pretty rough. I have great gloves and wraps so punches weren't noticeably different from other bags but kicks, knees, and elbows were another story, however, after only a week or two of daily use the cloth packing inside the bag started to settle towards the bottom, thereby softening up the midsection of the bag which allows it to bend during hard kicks and absorb strikes better. This bag is also quite skinnier than most bags I've seen, which was also kind of an initial disappointment when I got it, but I've learned to really appreciate its thinness because it's actually improved my striking accuracy greatly by being a smaller target for me to hit, especially with spinning strikes or back kicks. I've also found that the narrow profile is better for shin kicks than thicker bags, because it's not as easy to accidentally impact the bag with the sensitive parts of my feet and therefore I can maintain some distance from the bag when kicking and not have to be right up against it.Finally, in terms of reliability and build quality, this super cheap and Pakistani made heavy bag is actually pretty impressive. It might not look as visually impressive as some other bags but it's thick vinyl construction is (so far) really tough. I've only had it for a few months now but over the past month I've been doing workouts with the bag hanging in my outdoor carport in below freezing temperatures and, despite my concerns that the vinyl might get brittle from the cold and start cracking, it looks exactly the way it did when I got it, no scratches, no cracks, nothing.I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a serious, high quality, durable, and slightly unforgiving heavy bag to condition some shins on. It did come with chains and carabiners but I decided to use my own chains and climbing carabiners with the supplied chain swivel, not because of the reviews that report broken chain links, but because the ceiling of my carport is only about a foot or so higher than the bag itself, so I had to use shorter chains and carabiners so the bag wouldn't scrape the ground.

How it should feel
I remember when I was a kid and I punched my dad's punching bag only to hurt my hand because I hit a hard/ dead spot. This is not that type of bag. This is a bag that moves with the contact you input with a firm foam instead of the old and bags. It hangs perfectly in my garage and just hovers above the ground and the top of bag is a little proud over my head. I'm 5'11" and this bag is the perfect length for me.

Good bag, need extra hardware
Doesn’t come with the mounting hardware that attaches to ceiling. Only the chains that attach to mounting hardware. Must purchase separate if you want it hanging

Good value!
Great bag for the value. Comes already stuffed and stuffed correctly unlike some bags.

easy on and off
So far so good in terms of quality.I hung this from my pullup bar. This setup may not work for everyone because this bag is very tall, especially when you include the length of the chain. Im 6'2", so my pullup bar is very high up. I have to jump up to hang on my bar. Even so, the bag is about 2" off the groundSo if you are shorter than 5'11", you will probably want to buy a support specially for your bag, and not try to recycle your pullup bar for this setup. So yes, I do have to consistently hook and unhook the bag to the bar each time I want to do pullups, but its actually very easy. The benefit is that the punching bag is very tall. So I really only lift it 4 inches off the ground. I place it on a small brick that I have while I hang it. Then I remove the brick. The bag ends up being 2 inches off the ground. It requires not effort really as long as you can lift the 100lb bag 4 inches up on the brick.Comparing it to regular sized punching bags which are about 2-3 feet off the floor, this one is much easier to hook on/off by yourself.
