Authentic Traditional Organic Chebe powder from Chad 100g (3.5 oz)

I have been consistently using Chebe for 11 weeks. I mix it with a Shea butter hair mask or Cantu leave in conditioner along with a little hair oil (combination of castor, olive, pumpkin seed oils along with lavender, rosemary, nettle & burdock.) First I spray my scalp with water that has MSM powder; next I oil my scalp with the oil I mentioned earlier; then I spray my hair with the MSM water & then I apply the Chebe paste that I already mixed with a Shea butter conditioner. I do NOT apply the Chebe paste to my scalp. I apply it only to my hair starting 1/2 to 1” from scalp. I braid that section of hair. I start at the back of my head and work my way up. I use the combination of products MSM water & my hair oil mix bcuz I have PCOS & my hair was thinning. I also drink water with MSM & take vitamin c to help stop my hair from shedding.Applying Chebe is a messy process but definitely worth it. I usually put paper towels on the floor or I put down the one towel I don’t like. The first time I applied it my hair felt incredibly moisturized & I knew I would continue to use it. It is recommended to apply it every 3 to 5 days. I find that if I am going to wait to reapply on day 5 I need to spray my braids with water on day 3 to keep it moisturized. The one time I didn’t spray my hair with water on day 3 & I waited until day 6 to reapply I found that I had a lil more hair that shed when I undid the braids. It wasn’t a huge amount but it was a lil more than all the other times. Typically barely any hair sheds. After I have applied it to my entire head I put 2 wig caps on that I have cut in 2 or 3 places at the edge so it is not overly tight. Then I tie my hair with scarf. I sleep with a towel on my pillow & 2 pillowcases so that it doesn’t seep into the pillow. Usually the towel is enough but I use 2 pillowcases just in case I move the towel during the night. It will seep into the scarf so the next day I use a different one. It has a somewhat earthy smell which is the strongest on application day. If it is too strong of a smell you can use less of the Chebe powder when you mix it. My curl pattern seems to be slightly looser but not significantly. I bought the 100g pack & I think I still have enough to get through 4 more weeks. And for those of you wondering...I have yet to wash my hair. Yes I know. I cringe to admit it. This is the longest I have gone without washing it but I plan to in 3 weeks. At that point I will not use it during summer but I will again in fall/winter. Excellent product. My hair is thicker & it is not breaking because it is extremely moisturized thanks to Chebe

Works perfectly!!! Stops shedding when applied routinely

I added this chebe powder to a conditioner which I used on my hair and kept in a shower cap overnight. Rinsing this out the next day was something I will never do again. The results? Stronger hair strands that are resistant to breakage when wet-styling and wet-detangling my hair--but will all these grains of chebe ever come out of my hair!?!I have purchased small cloth bags to fill with the chebe powder and place in two jars of "Originals Hair Mayonnaise." I will shake these up from time to time for the next couple of weeks or so. I hope to imbue the conditioner with the strengthening properties of the chebe without having to deal with the impossible graininess of cleaning it from my hair directly. I have also done this steeping method with a liquid oil mixture and believe it has also helped.I will continue to use this product and due to my choice of application believe the amount will last a few months. This makes it affordable as well. Admittedly, I'm not one to do the most, but even this minimal application has given me results I'm happy with.

A. Get messy but works extremely well for hydration

I use this Chebe just like the ladies do in Chad. Unlike other Chebe I have tried, it does not cause break outs on my neck and chest areas. In addition, it keeps the moisture in my hair for up to 4 to 5 days. This will be my go to company for Chebe from this point on.

It’s ok I wish it was a little smoother and not so grainy. It does create a mess so don’t use it around anything you don’t mind getting the powder on.

I have 4C hair and this product keeps my hair moisturized for at least 7 days. I made a whipped hair butter with the Chebe.

I like that the chebe is fine.You don’t have to grind it . It’s just very messy when applying to your hair I recommend applying while in the shower.Excellent product.
