Nice and simple cable management
Working on a small project with 32 port switch and decided to try one of these to help clean up the wires. Worked well and makes it easy to add new cables as you go. I think the only down side (MINOR) would be you sometime have to spring back the metal that holds the cap on so it snaps tightly. Likely me being too hard when yanking it off. Metal is not thin but just the fingers that hold the cap on can get bent if you run into them.Would buy again, price and quality is good.

A straightforward device that works as intended
This cable management device is very solid. It's nice that it's all metal instead of having plastic parts. It was easy to install. The large openings are nice since it's easy to place the cables. The metal cover is solid and stays in place even with a lot of cables in the device.

These are perfect for a small rack
These are perfect for a small rack. They're ALL METAL! Even the cover plate is a metal piece. There's even access cutouts so cables can be fed behind the panel, not just out the sides. However, there's only one mounting hole at each end and it sits in the middle of a rack space, not the usual 4-screw top/bottom. It may be an issue for those without 3-hole-per-u racks.

Perfect for my home installation!
This is exactly what I was wanting for cable management of my home network rack. Unlike the 'fingers' kind of management that are great for large bundles of cables this is perfect for smaller installations and doesn't jut out away from the rack. My only difficulty was deciding which way to mount it and the straps for best use & appearance. The only firm guidance I had was that the way shown in the photos (on their own website even) is exactly the wrong way. LOL

Sturdy unit
Does the job just fine, however the mounting hardware is missing from the box. Having the mounting hardware would have saved me some time.

Startech is Frustrating
Seems like a quality unit. Its all 100% steel, with large openings including the back exactly like I wanted. Unfortunately, it only has mounting holes for center mounted cage nuts. The startech rack i have does not have center mount cutouts so I either need to drill corner holes in this unit, mount it off centered leaving a gap, or return it and buy a new one. This unit also includes 4 cage nuts and screws, with only 2 mounting holes. While my rack was a 2u but only included nuts and screws for 1u. Shaking my head for their logic. The pictures do show only the center holes , but i guess i didnt pay enough attention to them. Don’t make the same mistake that I did.
