Q: Why do different colors of same model 909 have different ip ratings? the black is ip67 whereas the yellow is ipx7.

Q: Would this be good for a suppressor?

Hello, i could not say for sure it all depends on it's dimension and assuming that it is the term you mean for the device that reduce sound emission that you can attach at the tip of a firearm. usually most appear to be around 7 inch which does fit in the interior dimension of the 909. around 10 inch considering foam kept on each end to protect the suppressor. thank you,
