Works very well, but please read the directions!
Ok. Does it smell like eggs? Yes. Yes it does. It’s supposed to. So, here’s the facts. This product is made to lift box dyes, permanent colors. Not direct deposit dyes (all the fun bright dyes). So please do not go in expecting this to lift blue, green, pink, bright red, etc. you won’t be happy. That being said, please follow the directions. I started with a black box dye that i had put over a dark teal. Starting color was a black with a green sheen from the direct dye color seeping through. I’m including a picture progression. I did one application on the color remover (which on my short thick coarse hair, was roughly 1/3 of bottles 1 & 2. We put saran wrap on my hair send let it process for the longest it recommended. This left me with yellow roots and a darkish aqua on top. I did the “processing lotion” bottle 3, which did not darken in color, letting me know i had gotten all the color rinsed. Be careful with bottle #3. It is super runny. I coated my hair with my head hanging over the sink. It’s literally a water consistency. We used a purple toner to help the brassy areas (which darkened the green slightly). I then put a hydration mask on. The next day we did a bleach (20 vol) followed by a blonde toning mask (purple toner) and let it dry. A second toning mask left me with a very light blonde base sand light sea foam ends. From there i proceeded with a warmer red undertone plum, which resulted in a color somewhere between burgundy and maroon. I did a second hair mask after the new box dye processed and My hair is in great condition.

Disappointed
Not to be a Debby downer but the only good thing I have to say about this is that it came in time and it didn't damage my hair. In fact it didn't do anything to it.To make the long short, this product did not whatsoever work for me even when I followed the directions.Regardless I do have a few things to say to whoever interested in buying this, the package is smaller than I imagined and the actual product to treat your hair is sort of hard to remove or squeeze out from their bottles and the stench is absolutely horrible as other reviews said. But of course that all could've been forgiven from me if it ended up doing what it promised which was to remove all dyes/colors from my hair but it absolutely did not.Don't get me wrong I did read a few reviews before I bought this and I did see that some people with green hair didn't notice a big difference but then there were some people with black hair that did.. my hair is pink and it's been pink for almost 6 months It went from a really hot pink to a more faded calm pink and I've been wanting it to just all rinse off so I can move on to another color. So obviously when I found out about one n' only I was relieved and I wanted it right away. I've also seen some videos on people who tried it and it worked for most of them and they had permanent hair dye compared to me I only had semi permanent, so I thought for sure it had to work on my hair because how does it work on others and not me? To say I'm just disappointed is really an understatement, now I don't trust anything to remove my hair color other than peroxide bleach. I'm thinking now about what I could've done wrong and the only thing that comes up is maybe opening the package box when it arrived but only using it four days later?(?) (I just wanted to make sure everything was there, again I had no idea it was so small. I have long hair and there really wasn't enough product. I'm glad I didn't buy two though.) Honestly though if that is the case than I should've been warned because one n' only mentioned the faster you work the better the results or something like that but to my knowledge the casings for part 1 color fix and part 2 (the conditioner part) was closed and sealed off from things affecting it.Yes, in case you're wondering I didn't use part three as some reviews suggest and even if I wanted to I wouldn't have known when it just says to apply it I assume after you wash off part 1&2 so does that mean I can use it whenever? The first picture was me a week before using it and the next one was the day after. If you have hair like mine that's pink I'm just going to say I don't recommend this product but anyone wants to give it a try, good luck! This was twenty dollars down the drain for me. 😓

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
The first two photos are after the last two before. I really like this product. These are the results after ONE round. If you read the instructions and do as it says you’ll avoid a lot of the things reviews are complaining about. I did NOT use the third product. I know there are some people who do and some that don’t. It says if the color doesn’t strip how you’re wanting after the first wash to REPEAT the steps and process again. Only at the very end do you add the third product if you choose to use it. I saw someone say in a video it needs to be used cause it’s telling you how much color and pigment is still left in your hair. I personally just didn’t feel like doing it and washing my hair again. Also my hair is still very healthy after using. All I did was shampoo twice like the directions say and then condition. I put a leave in conditioner in before blow drying as well. Now as far as the smell I feel like people are being overly dramatic. Yes it stinks. Yes it smells like rotten eggs but it’s not that bad. The smell doesn’t linger and my hair smells like my shampoo after the two washes. I’m sure it all depends on your hair if it holds the smell and depends on the products you use. I use salon grade shampoo and conditioner not cheap stuff so that may also have something to do with it. I’m over all happy with the results but I will probably do another round. I am trying to get back to my natural color which is dirty blonde. Also do not apply it to your roots!SIDE NOTE: The faster you use it the better apparently. I shouldn’t have emptied both bottles because my hair isn’t that long and I could have saved the rest for another round for another day.

It works! But it smells lol
This lifted year old box black hair dye and red dye underneath almost to an orange blonde! I was scared to use it but it honestly worked better than I ever could have imagined!I left it on for 20 minutes like the box said (first pic is still wet hair but very much so lightened!)
