Water-Proof Sling bag/Crossbody Backpack/Shoulder Bag with USB Charging Port for Travel, Hiking, Cycling, Camping

I bought this bag to replace one with a similar form factor from Swisstech. This bag is basically a duplicate of the Swisstech triangle sling. It has a main compartment and unpadded pocket with a thick mesh padded backing to the bag. The bag has a middle compartment with the lining used for another pocket, a front smaller pocket, a rear back pocket, and a side water bottle or umbrella pouch (if a small umbrella is used) on the side of the bag itself. The bag is lightweight and a good value for the price.The bag is made of this durable material in a nice checkered or gingham pattern in black and charcoal. The strap has a sunglasses loop and a pocket for a small phone. My Samsung A71 5G which is fairly long fits inside of in a very slim form factor phone case.Overall I am glad I bought this bag. I use it daily to commute to work. It holds my essentials like a pencil pouch, wallets, a few small toiletries, power pack, small first aid kit tin, masks, a portable fan, cords, my compact Michael Kors umbrella on the side, and my keys. The hardware is metal and clips on place but allows for the attachment of keychains or charms and charm bags too. The selling point for me aside from the familiar shape and form factor being triangular was the USB port for charging and a water bottle holder. Few sling bags and fewer triangular bags have a USB port. The port includes the cord in which the female port or head sits into. The cord itself is very long and the port fits into a plastic covering fairly tightly in the bag if you needed to remove it. It transfer power when attached to a power bank very easily. Bought this for a trip to Alaska, it held my rain jacket, pants (plus size), gloves, my wallet and phone. Bonus it has a bottle holder. I was rained on no issues. Loved that I could switch shoulders - so no neck pain from carrying everything for long periods of time. It was perfect! Quality is very good, cushioned, heavy duty and cute. I would highly recommend and will use this all the time.

Nice looking bag. Not sure how it would do it if it was submerged but we did dune buggies in Honduras with the bag. It was splashed repeatedly with water and mud. Everything inside remained dry. It cleaned up nice after being filthy. Its small so it can’t hold anything big but there are lots of pockets so it can hold a lot of smaller items and everything has it own spot.

The bag is very roomy in my opinion. I can fit my tablet in there, which is a standard iPad. It also has a keyboard case around the iPad so it fits comfortably. I think I counted six pockets. The only thing I don’t understand is the USB port. I don’t see the purpose of the USB port. If the bag itself was something you could charge and that it would hold a charge it would be far more functional than what they have presented. It just seems redundant to have to plug the bag into an outlet and then plug your phone into the USB port in the bag. Why would you even want to do that when you can just plug the phone in as you normally would to charge it. Other than that, I like the product very much.

Traveled through Central America with this bag. Bought the bag because it is carried on the front side. Didn’t want to be pick pocketed. Has a secret pocket to put your passport and anything of value close to you. It was able to hold the necessary items while traveling with a digital camera and interchangeable lens, small journal, snacks, and more. Has a water bottle pocket on the side. Didn’t get soaked when it rained. Very impressive how sturdy it was.

Used this as my only bag on a two week trip in Europe. Experienced rain and things stayed dry. Enough pockets to separate things and have a place for everything. Bottle area worked great for a medium size water bottle. Strap was very comfortable and could be switched to right or left side for carrying. I wore the bag as a front crossbody to deter pickpockets and had no issues or sense that anyone was trying to get to close or box me in to get access. Maybe the way I wore it and while on public transportation or congested areas I always kept a hand over the general area where all the zippers were. I am really happy with this bag and for the price it really is hard to find better. I compared it to a travelon crossbody backpack type bag and the travelon was smaller, antilock devices didn't feel like they would do anything to deter someone, was much harder to pack items into, and much more expensive.

Update a year later…I have been using this bag during our travels. This bag is NOT waterproof. It’s not even really water resistant. Nothing like getting caught in rainstorms or just superficial splash from dinghy rides to shore and back to mothership. I hate wet rides, so wont go out if it’s gonna be wet. Still, nothing like reaching into an internal pocket for money or receipts and finding them soaked. Worse, is when you have loose change starting to oxidize and clump. I do what I can to keep it dry, on a normal basis, so all this moisture inside was very disappointing. The zippers also started to corrode and I can no longer open a couple of pockets. This bag has been in service for only 8 months and it’s already unusable and junk. Look elsewhere for something else if you need a true waterproof bag. I’m still looking….Love the bag. Light weight and plenty of pockets. I love the one hidden along the back. Make sure to live the zippers if used in a marine environment as they will get crusty but they haven’t corroded super fast like the zippers on the dinghy seats, so they are a better quality. This bag has seen us travel through a few countries and provides space for some extra purchases or important papers.
