Love this knife
Love this “homage” to the Sheepdog. Good blade, great action. I carry this a lot. Liked it so much also bought the black version. Came sharp, and is a well finished knife at the price point..

Nice and heavy, very sturdy and well made
This knife will make a good EDC. I love the blade shape and have a couple other knives with the same style of blade. I can see me carying the knife daily and will get much us from it. Kudos to Eafengrow for making such a strong knife that I know I can depend on whenever I need to.

Solid knife for the price with one issue.
I have been a collector and carried blades on me every day as long as I can remember. I also use to sell knives and firearms to law enforcement, military, and civilians at a major retailer in my younger years. I have used Benchmade, Kershaw, Tops, you name it. This particular knife is very solid and sharp out of the box. It has fantastic weight and doesn't have any play in the blade, clip or handle. The one small issue with it is it takes some effort to get it to flip open because the flipper tab is about 1/16-1/8" too short so your index has to really mash on it with the flick of the wrist. Not a HUGE deal, but not something I would carry for self defense. This knife is now a dedicated tool that I can beat up on and use on projects.

Quality knife built on the heavy side
I like the knife. It holds the edge well as D2 steel is my favorite compromise in a knifeThis is a little heavier than I usually carry but I knew this up front. Still, it's a very good knife used in a backpack to shave wood and other chores.I would buy again and own another fixed blade from Eafengrow that is equally liked.Nice quality in every way.

Seller sold a used product as new, but it's a good knife
The knife itself would have been a solid 4 Stars. Only improvements I would suggest is making the blade flip lever (not the studs) maybe another millimeter longer; the blade does not open consistently using the lever. Also, consider selling a partially serrated version. Maybe make the scales a little more rough for better grip. Another star off because the seller sold a used product at the new price. The knife and the box was dirty. Good thing I didn't buy it as a gift. Still keeping the knife because I like the hefty, sharp blade and solid liner lock. Gonna be my box cutter for work.

Don't wait, get one or two!
Just received mine today. The color and blade shape caught my eye. It's been a few minutes that I've had and held it and I'm very impressed. My expectations weren't overly high due to such an affordable price range, but this thing has a good weight and feel to it.As an amateur knife enthusiast I had to put the blade to the test and found the nearest piece of paper to slice it up. The blade was dang sharp! Gliding through the paper effortlessly.Would definitely recommend! Heck, I might even get me a few more.

Wow just wow
Ok I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a $19 and change knife but my EDC was taken off my bench at work and i wanted something to tide me over till I found the right EDC replacement.I got this knife in two days from Prime delivery and was impressed from the minute I opened the package. Fit and finish, perfect . Big beefy blade, supposedly D2 Steel. I have no way of knowing that for sure though, it is stamped on the blade. G10 scales were well cut and all edges beveled nicely to make a comfortable grip. The action on this knife is BUTTER so smooth and effortless. The detent on the snap is nice and sharp not mushy in the least. About a 25% overlap on the lock and although it is quite stiff to unlock, personally I find that reassuring. Upon closing it wants to just fall closed slowly without pushing.I have carried this knife a little more than a week and I am so impressed that I am no longer looking fo an every day carry replacement, I have found it.

Basically a Knock-Off Kizer Sheepdog
Pros:- Very similar to the sheepdog mini- Thick blade that feels solid- Enough weight to feel sturdy without overdoing it- Feels like you could do a lot of heavy work with thisCons:- Feels cheap and blocky- Action is mediocre, but I’ve experienced much worse. Doesn’t flip open consistently.- Handle is thick enough to be inconvenient to carry. The handle shape on the sheepdog is much slimmer. If you like the blade shape of the sheepdog but don’t want to spend $60, this is a good alternative. The handle and action aren’t great, but acceptable for $20ish. If they made an XL version of this, I’d be very interested.
