Very comfortable
They work and are comfortable!I have severe chronic pain (fibromyalgia, among other diagnoses), and am hypersensitive to everything. I was so happy when I was able to take a nap in these when staying at a hotel. I am a side sleeper who tosses and turns a lot (due to said pain issues), and ear buds love to fall out of my ear canals. The design of these is perfect - no poking, no falling out, no pressure. I could feel them in, of course, and maybe I'd have sensitivity issues if I slept in them all night, I don't know. But they were great for a much-needed nap during the daytime. I was able to drown out most ambient noise and sleep soundly.I still can't believe my ears didn't hurt. I'm grateful to other reviewers for helping me choose these!Oh and the carrying case and several pairs of plugs is very convenient, too.

Works okay for background noise but not loud noise
They are somewhat comfortable and block out most background noise. My husband snores really loud and it does not block that or fireworks.

BEST… EARPLUGS…EVER!
I have a traumatic brain injury and have had long-term issues with noise intolerance. I also have very small ears, sensitive skin and a petite face. I’m a side sleeper, as well. Most earplugs are too big for me and fall out. They also irritate my skin. Not these!!I’ve bought nearly every kind of earplugs, at different price points. These are the absolute best and they are a great buy because you get 3 sets in a package, a cord, a storage container and a hanger that attaches to the holder.Someone mentioned they are “flimsy”, in my opinion, they are very soft, flexible material that forms to your ear but springs back to its original shape once you take them out. They are high quality. The best parts are that they don’t have that hard “stem”, it’s a soft bendable one to pull it out with, so you can lay on your side without your head hurting behind your ears, as I said, they come with a cord that is detachable, I use it at nighttime but if I wear them in public, I don’t use the cord. They have an awesome metal case that you can attach to anything. My goal is to have a pair on every purse, tote, and wallet I own!If you get the white or pink ones they are virtually unnoticeable. They really block sound so in public sometimes I only use one. Don’t want anyone sneaking up behind me! :)I highly recommend these! They’ve definitely improved my quality of sleep and everyday life.

Good noise reduction, reasonably good feel for sleeping.
I've been searching around for ear plugs I can sleep in that are comfortable. I bought these because they looked like they would be comfortable enough to sleep in while being a side sleeper. Reasonably comfortable enough once they were in for a couple minutes and I'm able to sleep in them for most of the night, but I do take them out after about 4-6 hours of sleeping in them. These are much better at noise reduction than foam plugs by a massive factor.I live in an apartment and "Thumper" who lives above me is all heels. It blocks out most of their walking around enough to sleep in. I also used these on a recent three day cruise and it worked and blocked out about 97% of all noises while trying to sleep. I will say that reduces conversation levels around you, but does not cancel noise in the immediate area as it only reduces noises 33db. Not sure how it would work with someone who snores loudly.I don't think I'll find plugs more comfortable than these for noise reduction that I can sleep in.

Didn't reduce the noise level much, and I had problems sleeping with them.
I live across the street from a bar, so there is a lot of noise from music. These did not block out the vibrations of the music. If I just wanted to block out general street noise, I'm sure these would do the trick, but I use a fan machine to help with that. I also had problems sleeping on my side. The side I was sleeping on, the earplug would push into my ear, and it felt like my ear was being plugged up; that drove me nuts. I tried sleeping on my back, but I hate sleeping on my back. But it was all kind of pointless, because very little noise was effectively countered with earplugs. If I could afford to move away from this place, I would do that, but that's not a possibility. I've already tried 3 types of ear plugs, so now it's on to soundproofing the windows. Maybe that will go better.

What loud noises?
I’ve used quite a few different earplugs and over the ear protection. These are what I prefer for both woodworking and shooting.-Very soft flexible silicone doesn’t deteriorate over time and with constant exposure to heat (they live in a hot shop and a hot truck). Other plugs have melted or crumbled over time.-Thin flanges that are slightly wider in diameter allow these to fit more securely in my ears. Other plugs would not seal completely or fit too loosely. These create a vacuum that smarts a bit when you pull them out.-They come with three pairs, two different cases and a single tether. They will only be useful if you have them with you. These come with enough options for transport that there is no excuse to not have them when needed.-Easy to clean. Silicone is very easy to clean. Mine get sawdust on them that would permanently adhere to plugs made of other materials.-Subjective noise protection is high. Cannot hear an air compressor from 20 feet away unless I’m specifically listening for it.These are really excellent for the money. Custom fit earplugs are better but at a much higher cost.

Had to go to urgent care because I thought I popped my eardrum because of these, bad buy
Bag buy, night these for night time to go to sleep because the ghost in my apartment is loud AF at night and it scares me, and I thought My eardrum ruptured when I woke up. But luckily it was fine. But they hurt if you wear them a long time
